bigpicture001:if Russia is not the Soviet Union. What was the economy of the other republics compared to Russia? Can any of the other republics develop even a wheelchair to send man or satellite into space? Can they mount a successful development and deployment of nuclear weapons? Who inherited the debts of the Soviet Union? Who is the sole successor state of the Soviet Union? Just stop typing please. |

Quelme:The Soviet union had a joint very huge asset, jointly owned by all it's members state.. Russia proposed to take the responsibility of payback of the Soviet loan. Only on condition that the member states must forfeit their share of the joint Soviet asset... The breakway nations agreed and ND Russia understood the debt payment responsibility... Now u understand, Mr. Russia! |
| Re: Russian General, Vladimir Alekseyev, Hospitalized After Several Shots In Moscow by Quelme: 11:58pm On Feb 07 |
bigpicture001:this clearly shows you know nothing about Russia or the Soviet. It's been almost 35 years since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and non of these nations can even stand on their own without handout from external actors. The tiny Baltic states are a vassal of the West depending on loans and kick backs from the EU to stay afloat. Georgia, Moldova are some of the poorest of the poor. The ones in central Asian such as Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia etc still depend on Russia for almost everything till date. Take it or leave, those former Soviet states got nothing on Russia because 95% of the Soviet economy was Russian. |

bigpicture001:Here is the economy of former Soviet states for better understanding as at 2022 Mr! Add the other states together, its just a drop in the ocean when compared to the fortress and robust economy of Russia. Russia now have their own space port in Votochny but out of goodwill still pay to use the Baikonur in Kazakhstan (Soviet era) just to keep the inflow of Forex to the Kazakhs. The Russians produce Submarines, warships, the icon Soyuz spacecraft, airplanes, fighter jets, they lead in nuclear and space technology, the iconic LADA cars just to name a few. Self sufficient in everything there is in life. Non of these your so called former Soviet states can compare.

Quelme:Why is Russia fighting all of them? Ok, u are swallowing the NATO story bait? Boy, it's simply they dnt want to be associated with Russia anymore... Do u know Japan with it's small.size has a biger economy than Russia?...it's not by population...Mr, those small countries are depending on handouts from the west... Is Russia not a debt nation,? Do u know Germany is a more developed country than Russia..? U like Russia too much and I will tell u, they are a big for nothing country |
| Re: Russian General, Vladimir Alekseyev, Hospitalized After Several Shots In Moscow by Quelme: 12:21am On Feb 08 |
bigpicture001:please if you want us to discuss properly, stop referring to me as a boy. Its condescending please. Japan has a very large population almost at par with Russia but I don't want to delve into the Japs for now. Japan has always been top dog historically. What is the debt of Russia compared to Germany, hope you know the answer? Germany can not even stand toe to toe with Russia economically if they faced the same external economic sabotage like Russia. |
