The U.S and other foreign bodies helped Nigeria to recover those loot. The shameless APC under the very watch of Buhari, the recovered Abacha loot was relooted. Negotiations between powerful countries can be fair but between a ciuntry like USA or UAE and Nigeria there is no fairness. That money is a tool of political Negotiations which will be repaid one way or another. PulaPower: |

One had been saying it that it can only get better! When these FDIs begin to materialize, Nigeria would begin to rise gradually from the ashes of economic and social doldrums. Nigeria is too important to be ignored by the world! Expect more countries clamouring to come and invest because of the huge economic gains they stand to gain in return due to our immense population and economic potentials. The issue of insecurity however remains an impediment to our economic growth but, with concerted efforts, it shall also come to pass. Only a foolish child would point his left finger at his father's house. @hotseat |

Dear Nigerians there’s no free money in this world. These guys are imperialist and have no vision for the black race. Will they invest, yes. Will it move us forward, time will tell. But from their antecedents, Africans are perceived inferior. The have zero interest in political stability, human capital or youth development. Just modern slavery. Hence my constant advocacy for the west as against China and now the UAE. Their investment in Africa is about their survival not love. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm2xmhcjeVs Watch the video above, follow the news in Sudan and you’d understand. |

Make ona dey play until... You are not religious, so, you are potentially a target when the ships docked. |

The Nigerian people are the most gullible people on earth. If not, why will anyone in this information age be ecstatic over the UAE government pledging to invest billions of dollars in their country? Before signing anything with them, why not do a simple investigation about their prior investments in countries within your geopolitical region so to see how all have ended? Let's go straight to the point. The UAE was rejected and pushed out of Somalia last month I.e January 2026. Their first partnership started in 2013-14 which promises a lot of military personnel trainings, economic benefits and assistance in fighting off pirates in the gulf of Aden. Of course, such agreements are termed bilateral but only those of the weaker countries are highlighted. One will assume that all will go well between them since both are complete muslim countries with 99% Muslim populations. Alas, it didn't go well over the years as Somalia just terminated the security and defense agreements and expelled the UAE ambassador after recalling theirs. They finally have seen exactly what UAE wants to benefit from the agreement which wasn't obvious in the beginning. Many things happened between 2013 to 2026 which Somalia noted over time to conclude that whatever UAE had in mind wasn't for their own good. Does the Nigerian government care about the main interest of the UAE in this move? Certainly not! Do they care about what it will imply for the average people of Nigeria? Of course not. The second case is that of the ongoing genocide of non-Arab population of Sudan and how the UAE is heavily enabling it. The are the chief country arming the RSF that is carrying out genocide of the black African populations in the Darfur region of Sudan. These black populations are Muslims too just like them but of course, they're not Arabs or Arab wannabe. Black populations in Nigeria should already have noted if such will be possible in the country. The same thing just happened in Wuro, Kaiama area of Niger state where Muslim populations were slaughtered by Islamic terrorists groups because they didn't buy into the radical Islam being promoted by powers that be in Niger. The UAE coming officially into Nigeria will increase such occurrence in exponential rate.

Glitcher:Soon as I read the headline I instantly knew something was fishy. Something didn't quite sound right with the news. There was something 'off' about it. After reading the story, I realised something was indeed fishy. Let gumi and his bandwagon of terrorists continue, including the sultan clown. The embarrassment the president and his government got early in his tenure when he attempted to visit those Arabian countries gets clearer by the day. |
