DeLaRue:You picked on Obi and left Atiku because of your perceived and natural hatred for him. Has your Tinubu done better to improve the living standard of Nigerians since 2023? The state of the currency does not always define how well the economy is doing. Until now, the Chinese yuan and the Japanese yen were among the lowest in rates around the early 2000's. Their economy wasn't as bad as that of Nigeria today. Are the Argentines crying miserably like Nigerians today? Obi remains the nightmare of you guys, just like the devil trembles at the mention of Jesus. Truly, light will always drive away darkness because darkness comprehends it not, and it shall continue to be so. |

cr7lomo:He actually said FG should adopt the Argentina Economic reforms. Although he was talking about poverty when he hinted that, but he did actually said so, and not that Nigeria should learn from ARGENTINA'S mistake |

Stop twisting OBI statements this is exactly what he said. “In Argentina, over 52% of its population lived in poverty by early 2024 according to the World Bank, with millions of Argentines unable to meet basic needs. Inflation was above 200%, and economic confidence had collapsed. Yet, within two years, through decisive action to cut waste in governance and prioritize economic stability,” Obi said. “The newly inaugurated president was able to cut down the poverty rate to 38.1% from 52% in just 2 years and extreme poverty fell to 8.2%, with inflation just around 2–3% monthly. |

| Re: Argentinian Pesos Per US Dollar, Three Years Ago And Now by Teymanhenry(f): 9:48am On Feb 08 |
DeOTR:You probably choose to ignore where I mentioned that our leadership failed to improve Nigerians’ standard of living. If subsidy removal had come with visible economic benefits, people would accept and wouldn't complain of the higher fuel price. This country will only truly progress when citizens vote based on competence, not party, tribe, or religion and hold leaders accountable for results. |

Facts speaks. Argentina's milei Government is performing much better than Nigeria's Tinubu: Milei's libertarian agenda focused on drastic spending cuts, deregulation, and inflation control. Inflation dropped dramatically from 211% annually in 2023 to around 31% by early 2026, with monthly rates as low as 2.1% in late 2025. He achieved Argentina's first budget surplus in 14-16 years (1.8% of GDP in 2024). The IMF projects 4.5% GDP growth for 2026, the highest in Latin America. Poverty fell from a peak of 52.9% to 31.6-38.1% by mid-2025, aided by lower import costs and a record $18.9 billion trade surplus in 2024. |

DeLaRue:Some of you speak out of ignorance. The currency is just one aspect of the economy, The Argentine reforms is a modern day miracle. Modern Argentina is the best example of how to turn a nation around in just 3 years. On the other hand, your brother Tinubu has destroyed the Nigerian economy to its worst outcomes ever. More poverty than ever before, more indebted than ever before, less manufacturing than ever before, and more insecurity that ever before. Argentina on the other hand has greatly reduced it's deficit, inflation, it has become a capital magnet, it has reduced government spending in boasted private sector investment. Please study and compare the 2 economies before your next comment on the matter. |

DeLaRue:How has President Tinubu steadied the economy? You probably may have noticed some improvement in the value of Naira. Well, news flash: The greenback value has dipped 11% percentage. The primary causes for the weakness were multiple interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve and economic uncertainty surrounding tariff policies. Just get that Straight. Naira hasn’t improved. Rather it’s the dollar value that has declined against international currencies. I hope this helps. And I want Tinubu’s administration to succeed. His success means Nigeria’s success. Having said that, we need to be factual and honest in our appraisal. |
