FG Approves Dualisation of 420km Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe Highway

The Federal Government has approved the dualisation of the 420-kilometre Akwanga (Nasarawa State)–Jos (Plateau State)–Bauchi–Gombe highway.

These roads will feature street lighting, solar-powered lights, irrigation dams, and renewable energy components to support agriculture and earn future carbon credits.

The announcement came during an inspection of the ongoing rehabilitation of the 35.4 km Bauchi–Gombe section, contracted to Triacta Nigeria Limited.

They re supposed to show progress on the ones they commissioned last year. We cant keep having projects approved but nothing to show. The issue of security needs to be addressed no use building roads if people cannot ply them safely day or night.

too much drug intake is not good.health workers are in strike for almost 4 months this one is busy doing roads.is it not human beings that will use the road?I go soon leave the country for them
