e-voting may be the end of opposition.

e-voting fraud is sophisticated and hard to detect.

The right result must be announced. Maybe video evidence of election conduct at polling unit and video evidence of result announcement.

But then all this just make election expensive. There is a need to rebuild trust in the system.

I will suggest open ballot instead of secret ballot.

In 2027 elections there should be credible elections, not Grab it, Snatch it, and Run away with it .
whoever that latter win the election fairly, will then become our true president, then such president will be able to do the right things and show empathy to the masses.

This is what it means to lead. Electronic accreditation via BVAS, voting and timely transmission of election results from IREV to INEC secured and retrievable server is a must.

Most personal details information, banking, education exams, govt processes are now done electronically within secure servers power by TELECOS. Though no system is 100% foolproof, electronic elections have had proven success in UI, Estonia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and the last US elections. Nigeria can't afford to remain behind.

The electoral, democratic and constitutional processes needs to be bettered with or without their limitations. True democracy starts from a credible electoral system. The only people kicking against this development are the anti-democratic elements.

Look at Donald Trump who was the America president during the 2020 presidential election, still claiming till today that he was rigged out of the election.

And that's from a saner country, and from an "insane" country like your own, no loser will believe any election result.

This protest just like many others won't do anything. People saying there won't be election are just talking. When that time of election comes, I would like to see what they would do with police operatives standing guard. People will always vote. You can never get 100% not to vote and the Constitution didn't say a certain number of people must vote.

I would like to see electronic transmission of vote but this is Nigeria. The politicians won't allow it.
