The protest seeks to correct 2 issues really if you have been following impartially like myself and you are not just being sarcastic :
1. The last election recognized real time "Electronic transmission" as one of the means of transmitting election results but it was a mare GUIDELINE by INEC not recognized by law because it was not passed by the Senate. So this new discussion was meant to pass it clearly on the floor of the Senate EARLY ENOUGH before the elections in '27 to give INEC enough time to purchase, test run, train staff and deploy as required...so this becomes the main means of transmission of election results in a TRANSPARENT AND EFFICIENT manner just like other nations where their democracy has evolved to Conducting a FREE, FAIR & TRANSPARENT ELECTIONS!
2. A committee was set up in the Senate and after the work was done and put into vote...the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of the committee members voted for ELECTONIC TRANSMISSION OF ELECTION RESULTS but not long after it arrived the table of the Senate President, some group of people decided to "DOCTOR" the document to read as though they favored MANUAL TRANSMISSION of results which has become susceptible to ELECTORAL FRAUD and MANIPULATIONS FOR MANY YEARS now🙄
The outcome of that clandestine or even brosd day move is what this protest is all about .

No electronic transmission No elections

And tinubu will go

E transmission of results is a must. We will never watch and allow what happened in 2023 presidential election to happened again in 2027.
