I like the way Peter Obi proactive stance agaisnst Tunibus exceses. Unlike Atiku stantionary posture as if waiting to inherit his dying fathers throne. |

This was the video that got leaked in 2023, prior to the Presidential Elections, that made INEC suspended electronic transfer of results. They are all Tech gurus, IT experts that can play around with online data, manipulate whatever figures without anyone knowing.... Listen to the last speaker and his last statement...."we will rig this election for you"... Even.....banging the table as he does his talk. No wonder, it was only them condemning the recent resolution by the NASS assembly to discard the i-Rev. Be sincere will you, as a person, after listening and watching this still support e-transfer? |

pipnator00:Mandating e transmission won’t make any of that better. They scope of these issues is far wider than mere election result transmission. They have been talking about fixing power since 1986. Solar kits and starlink as many would suggest as alternatives will multiply election budget by 5 just for procurement, then comes training of officers and maintenance. If Nigerians don’t mind spending big on elections that will still end up in litigation, then that should work. |

Racoon:INEC is talking absolute nonsense and the Telcos top, they are host not willing to say they are incompetent because we know the Telcos have failed to put infrastructure to support global connection country wide. The gsm map shows less than 40% coverage so how can they be able to guarantee connectivity. INEC ace been getting billions every four years and they are just looking for ways to make FG be their super sugar daddy. Chasing an idea that is beyond the nation and needles. |

Vinnie2000:That is the problem with people like you! Politicians will change base and automatically become saints. Who are the people in the party you are going to vote? Nor be ADC? ATIKU, EL-FUFAI etc....the same set of people that moved from APC not because they want good Nigeria but because their interest weren't served. So if you think the problem is the party and not the individuals that is your problem. I pity all of una. |

ILoveNG:In your previous comment, I agreed with you but this, I totally disagree. Lets mandate and the planning process will follow. Haven't we always had over budgeted elections and in the end what did we get.. Yes, starlink, solar kits, generator sets (even I better pass my neighbor) will go a long way. We shouldn't continue to dwell with the same problem every election (collation officers changing results with pen), lets move on to other problems. If the election is transmitted electronically and in the event of manipulation of any kind, at least there would be digital footprints, making it easier to track/trace and correct. Remember, every other progressive country in the world transmits their elections electronically, hence there elections are always free and fair. If not for electronic transmission, people would have believed Trump when he said the lection he lost to Biden was riggered! |

Oludiary:All these are normal excuses! Nigeria can only work when we have stronger institutions not strong men! If we have an electoral process that is free and fair without manipulation, every political leader will know that if they don't perform, they will be booted out through that same process! |

Let them try it at local governments levels on certain states and let’s learn from our teething problems. It will throw Nigeria into chaos, if used at once at presidential election, without perfecting it from previous experiences. Some sections of Nigeria are waiting and looking for little opportunities to dabaru Nigeria. But no matter how hard they protest, it won’t be used this coming presidential election. If dem like, make dem go protest for Trump bedroom in Amelika. |
