This is what it means to lead. Electronic accreditation via BVAS, voting and timely transmission of election results from IREV to INEC secured and retrievable server is a must.

Most personal details information, banking, education exams, govt processes are now done electronically within secure servers power by TELECOS. Though no system is 100% foolproof, electronic elections have had proven success in UI, Estonia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and the last US elections. Nigeria can't afford to remain behind.

The electoral, democratic and constitutional processes needs to be bettered with or without their limitations. True democracy starts from a credible electoral system. The only people kicking against this development are the anti-democratic elements.
Fear fear Obi.

I beg, police should help me spray him with tear gas

I used to be against those calling for electronic transmission of result until I read a particular thread on this forum. From there I concluded that the lawmakers have no reason standing against it. Using poor network as excuse is not a genuine reason. 👇

My Conclusion:

In case the Senate refuse to bow down to people's agitation, we should not forget that the existing electoral law does not stop INEC from adopting e-transmission. INEC can still go ahead and adopt it for 2027 elections with or without any amendment to the existing law. BTW, kudos to those who replied me without throwing any insults or banters. I love matured and intelligent comments like these. May God bless Nigeria 👍🇳🇬✌️🙏
The issue here is it has to be mandatory, because all they need to tell us is that network glitch made it impossible to work

But if it's mandatory, you fit to jail sef for subverting the process

Okay; it must be MANDATORY. I agree 💯

Let's raise the voice! 🔥💪
Sure it's even the logical thing to do, look at Jamb now, it is utterly impossible to cheat during their exams because they adopt electronic means, no one knows the question before hand, even when you're given the question, there are different multiple questions for each person, we should always try new stuff and see how we can improve on them, in 2027, we should use the electronic transmission is we are ever serious about doing things right

No, he had no choice. The mob summoned him. He weighed his options. He knows no one cares very much about the jamboree, plus it gives him 50 brownie points with the mob. It's a win win.

Nothing will change after all has been said and done...🤣🤣🤣🤣 Those that think that e transmission will favour their mini god to clinch the presidency are in for a rude awakening...

Explain how you can have prompt transmission of electoral results in over 176,000 polling units across Nigeria. What happens when it's impossible in some areas? What is the cost of making sure it's possible all over Nigeria. Who bears the cost? INEC? Akpabio?

You will think they love Nigeria, the people protesting compulsory election result transmission will still be the sets of people that will hire hackers to hack the election transmitting platform so as to disgrace the government.

The same way they think change of currency notes will put presidency on their laps. You can’t deceive everyone at the same time.

This is what we have been asking for. It is operation rig and die. They're taking advantage of his quiet nature and there are limits to how much a person can take. This man has huge followers and only a tweet from him would have shut down this country during the last election but he didn't allow emotions over logic. Millions of Nigerians say enough is enough.
Many of his followers were still not happy with him for not doing exactly what you said now, example,, that loudmouth, Kenneth Okonkwo.

Guy the benefits of electronic transmission of results are numerous!
If anything,it will reduce the amount of post litigation!
The question is why are your apc lawmakers and presidency afraid of electronic transmission of results?
Is your jagaban not popular?
Even if we bring Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed to conduct the election, Peter Obi and Atiku will still go to court. They are sore losers.

This is not sounding brilliant.

WYZAD:
Obi and the protesters are playing out the script written by d Senate without knowing it.
Hiw gullible they are....
The senate knew beforehand that it will get to this and when it happens they will approve the inclusion of electronic transmission so that Obi and whoever won't have anything to complain about when the elections result go against them.
