So Russia with her huge resources is still
not contented,

stealing from Ukraine and killing innocent Ukrainians

May God help Dr Congo to utilise her resources

Just imagine, Germany is not even showing in the list. See DRC and Nigeria topping Africa countries and having one of the poorest citizens in the world.....

Forget stock markets and tech giants for a second. We’re talking about the raw, untapped power of the Earth.
If you added up every ounce of gold, every drop of oil, every acre of timber, every lithium and every piece of Rare Earth Minerals, the leaderboard changes COMPLETELY.
As the world shifts to green energy and EVs, which resource do you think will be the most valuable in 10 years? (Oil vs. Lithium vs. Rare Earth Minerals vs. Water?) 💧
Is having $75 Trillion in resources enough to become a superpower in the 21st century?
Which of these countries is managing their wealth the best? 🇸🇦🇳🇴
Do you think natural resources are a "blessing" or a "curse" for a country's economy?\

My country is in No 15 and we're living like people without a single resource.
One of them spotted, you must see negative say about Nigeria. When in the other thread, where Nigeria was not among 25 indebted nation to imf, you suddenly went dumb and deaf.

be civil. You can air your opinion without being cursing. Congo is plundered by foreign powers, of course, in collaboration with the corrupt people in government as is the case in Africa generally.

The country is facing different rebel groups at war with govt. And the country is blessed with forest and forest resources. It has the largest natural forest in Africa.
Yes oooo. Rebel groups supported by weapons from advanced nations like China Britain and Russia. They supply them weapons un exchange for resources. Wonderful deal that keeps drug addicts controlling the resources of their fatherland and exchanging it for small cash and arms.

Potential exists, but Nigeria’s poverty is a choice of extraction over production. True wealth is found in adding value, not just digging resources out of the ground. This isn't news or new!

"Serious Nigerians" must stop pointing fingers and start building human capital. If we had no excuses, our only path would be mastery of skills and manufacturing.

This shift requires electing competence at every level, from councilors to governors. We must move from a mindset of "collecting" to a culture of "creating" and solving. The gap between potential and prosperity is bridged only by our own productivity.
When I pointed out what we were losing to cocoa raw sales without value addition, some three yeara ago, you need to see how corn-demons attacked me.
Instead of earning cool $30-$35 billion a year from processed cocoa, we earn $1-$2 billion and think we are in charge imagine the world's top candy flavour creating a $120b market and we control 30% of the raw materials.

7 African countries on the list and Nigeria seems to be the richest country in Africa according to this information.
No. We not the richest but the most subsidized and thus the fastest reproducing nation.

They are only rich in exploitation.
England are good in getting it out of the ground and into useful form. Can we do anything without them. Before the hwlp is exploit/explore our resources, we offered human sacrifices to the gods to appease water pollution by crude, now we offwr human as sacrifices for a slice of the processed crude.
You carefully ignored out greed and disorientation.

If Russia was like any other 3rd world country, the West would have invaded it already with the Guise of weapons of mass destruction and terrorism

I quite disagree with you because Nigeria recently is no longer a heavily subsidised country/economy.... Fact-check me.

I copied your quote and chatted it on both Gemini and ChatGPT but your quote failed the tests of recent realities in Nigeria economy.

That is why we should never ever allow corrupt politicians like Peter Obi to get to power.

There are over a hundred militant groups in the DR Congo alone. Pray Nigeria security situation does not get to that level.

African countries with huge resources have been marked for exploitation using various forms of militant groups to bring them to their knees.

Same old playbook.
