You do Video editing? Broooo...it seems Adobe suite is getting harder and harder to use on newer machines. Trying to render a 58 secs from After Effects this morning, with little animations and 3D camera movements took like 3 hours 😩. The way Adobe really do not give af about older machines maan.

Like guy I wan craze yesterday. I've been using since last week Tuesday trying to export a 3hr full video. Shit should just take about 2hrs10mins plus, but man, at some point or getting close to full export, the thing go just cancel, give an error rendering code or just turn off my laptop screen.

Trying to update my graphics driver and other stuff took up my time late into the night, ginger to watch film comot sef and I no wan sleep too late as time don reach 3am.

Adobe na werey on God. I downloaded their latest Adobe app so that I can easily monitor my GPU performance and temperature levels and GPU updates only to see that my Graphics card ain't supported. Omo, e pain me gon.

Because of Adobe and their nonsense I literally have two different versions of Premiere Pro (2021 & 2024), After Effects (2021 & 24), Media Encoder. If one mess up, at least the other go fit save you. But bro I dey shed tears since last week. 😩😩

There was a time I still had 2019 PP until I deleted it late last year cos I don't use, just had it for back up for a friend who relies on it as his back up.

But that After Effects ehn... Na another program entirely. I don't understand much about it cos I'm not really a graphics designer, my few graphics design and animations are done with PP. Sure I know it's inefficient. I promise myself to master AE this year but e be like say I dey whine myself cos no ginger dey. That program be like another dimension for my eyes.
Maybe cos I don't have a project that'd force me to seriously use it tho.

Adobe and it's toxic perks and terrorism don just dey used to us. If not, I see peeps everyday swearing for Adobe and never looking back after swapping to Davinci Resolve and swearing it's the best thing after sliced bread.

You are likely running out of ram. If you have a ram monitor running you will see it. I used to experience this back in the day on arch renders. Ram would go down to 0 and my pc would throw amazing error messages.

I mainly do motion graphics and animations that sometimes interlope with Video Editing, so After Effects is what i used for that.

Braah, i got offered Adobe 2026 suite this morning and i didn't even want it!. Adobe are aggressively demanding more from PCs these days. So if your PC isn't running Intel core i7 and later or Apple M1 Chip or later, with at least 16GB of RAM, na so so struggle you go dey struggle fa , if you like make you dey update Graphics card everyday!😩😩.
