And some of the course mates may be using a torch phone that is binded with rubber band.

This is not a new thing, although his fellow classmates getting him arrested is new. In my days course reps were the marketers for corrupt lecturers, you need higher grades from lecturers you go through them. If you have quarrels with them all they need do is to lay a false allegation to the lecturer about you and you will carry over indefinitely.

They arranged girls for lecturers too.

Many were rewarded with 2.1 but karma has a way of dealing with some of them later in life.

I can testify to this.... books are only available at poly consult.

This is serious, even increasing the price more than the lecture real price, the school authorities must take a very serious punishment on it,that's the kind of leadership we are nurturing into the society, let him get a better and we'll position in the society and see how he will embezzle public funds
