Obnoxious2001:I have made my research and you're wrong chief. I'm not disconnecting the fan totally, I'll only run the power line of the fan through the governor. The fan has 4 wires. The sensor and signal wire are still connected to the inverter So if it can only lower the speed of the fan at night, I'm okay cos night is my only issue. |

fuckboys:Wouldn't a resistor in series or a standard (or Zener) diode do the work ? Rather than completely disconnect the Fan, you limit it's voltage so it runs slower. Most times, when a device relies on Fans to get cooled, they don't often have (enough) heatSink to dissipate that heat. You better off with a slow fan than completely switching it off. Assuming you got an external charge controller, we for use the load's timer so it only comes up on set time. |

prince4pro2:that's lead acid for you. When I was using 100ah I had similar issues. I thought it was my charge controller but na the battery dey limit the current |

Obnoxious2001:putting expensive brushless fans that would still run 24/7 on high speed. This is actually the best cos it controls the speed using ambient temperature, lowers the fan noise and will also prolong the fans life cos it won’t be running at full speed all the time anymore. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Obnoxious2001(m): 10:39pm On Feb 10 |
fuckboys:Your idea actually works if it's a 2 pin fan(just + &-) What you have not considered is that the fan needs input voltage to to be able to Send signal and it needs to receive signal too. Red = +12v Black= -12v Yellow= tach signal from the fan Blue= speed control signal A better approach will be to use an external PWM signal to control the present fans I am quite sure the device you ordered will likely connect the power to the fan when a certain temperature threshold is met |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 11:36pm On Feb 10 |
Obnoxious2001:No, what the governor does is increases voltage to the fan from 1-12v and at constant current of 1a depending on the ambient temperature. I’m 100% certain it’s going to work. Yes there’s yellow wire a tach sensor, this actually sends signals to the inverter to shut down in case of fan failure Yes there’s a blue speed control wire, now this wire doesn’t matter anymore if the power to the fan isn’t controlled by the inverter anymore. This wire will remain and tell the inverter to send full 12v (highest speed) to the fan which the inverter can’t do anymore cos it doesn’t control power to the fan. Now this is where the governor comes, anything with motor actuality increases or decreases speed depending on the speed of current passing through it which is voltage. The governor increases voltage to the fan when the temperature rises. |

I don't even know how to enter this fan conversation. The fans in inverters with a start and stop function are designed to start at a certain temperature then stop when the temperature gets to a certain value. One way to mitigate the constant on and off noise with the fans without compromising warranty is to attach fans externally, this way, the inverter doesn't get to the temperature to start the internal fans at all. I did this 3 months ago and I am fine with the result |

This is what's called GREED + . Just imagine selling a book of ₦3,500 for ₦8,500 thereBy making much more profit that the original Author. Would have made profit selling at ₦3,500 BUT NO, this one choose to instead add extra ₦5,000. Tomorrow himsef go follow insult poliThiefCians. This is so similar to what happened between I and a retailer sometime ago. https://www.nairaland.com/8615377/coursemates-got-class-rep-arrested |

Appreciation to Mr Reed.. Got in touch with him about a 48v8kwh battery he had and i assumed the price on his page without confirming from him. It was after making payment we noticed difference was abt 200k. We spoke and he agreed I'd balance him afterwards once client pays balance. He trusted me and sent the battery down and still readily/happily helped with answers when I got stuck during installation. Installation has bin completed and balance settled. Thank you very much sir, I really appreciate you. It was nice doing business with you

Hi guys...I want to get an inverter for my place and I just want to know who I can talk to better that as a good reputation on the forum... |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AyobamiOluwole: 4:34pm On Feb 11 |
Phethar007:I am not a seller nor an installer, I am mainly here to correct some madness. In all you do, avoid the 400k guy and some other guy who said he will do the same if he was given the opportunity. So far so good I’ve come to know about some folks whom many have mentioned to have a good reputation: • MrReed • Valto • Damrey5 (I too like this guy for his tear down videos 🤩) Abi what’s that his name • Dollarnaira (I don’t know if he sells) That’s all I can remember for now. I don’t know if Seun has anything to say about inverters though. Sha apply wisdom in all you do. |

Pls @all is 4 piece of 535watt of original jinko panel enough to charge my 8kwh battery quickly and also run my refrigerator during the day? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by favouredbymercy: 7:34pm On Feb 11 |
osayuwamwen:Depends on how deep you discharge it before recharging. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 7:45pm On Feb 11 |
osayuwamwen:YES but if you can afford to add extra 2 to make it 6, better. |

Can you specify the PV cable you're referring to here? I'm trying to install 5*200w solar panels i removed from my guys place after upgrading to 5*535w jinko, and i don't think it's worth it for me to carry money go buy 10-15yrds 10mm cables to run am on parallel. As a matter of fact I'm thinking of adding one more 200-300w panels to run am 3s3p. Charge controller is a pwm bassdow: |
