Where Nafdac lost the arguement is they could discredit the content Buh just against the size n satchet that does not save life

if i dont drink chelsea gin fron satchet i can drink from bottle ... how as that helped my health

I don't understand the obsession of NAFDAC with sachet Alcohol. Banning it will never reduce the volume of Alcohol people drink. In fact, I think sachet Alcohol helps people take smaller volumes and regulate their drinking. The moment it is banned they will just move up to buying bigger bottles, because people who drink will always drink.
Now imagine entering a commercial bus and you see a 750ml bottle of Chelsea or Action bitters positioned on the dashboard.
The only possible benefit banning sachet Alcohol has is that it will help reduce the environmental pollution polymer sachets cause. If that is the reason why they are doing it, then it is reasonable. But if it's to make people reduce or stop drinking, then it will be one of the most useless intervention by NAFDAC.

The move was never to control adult’s alcohol intake.. adults will surely adjust by buying alcohol in bottles..

They mentioned its for controlling children's easy access to alcohol….. with one hundred naira any kid can buy those things in satchet since its every where unlike bigger bottles that are more expensive and found only in shops where nafdac can enforce age access laws

This is not good enough, the alcohol in sachet ban was arrived at many years ago due to the endemic situation of renal failure and other health hazard caused by alcohol.

Alcohol should be for those that afford a meal not so cheap more than a plate of rice or eba.

This constant reversal of policy that is meant to protect the overall health of most vulnerable people should not be sacrificed on the alter of jobs and economic benefits to wicked industrialists.

Wrong perception bro. I'm not an omuti as you pointed out. I do take alcohol but occasionally not frequent. What good those alcoholic bitters
has done for me can't be overemphasized.
That's why I asked you that question: what is bad in it.

2 weeks ago, I couldn't stool for three days straight. If I want to try, it will be as if it's stone that blocked my anus. I will strain and strain myself just to try and get it out, for where. It's as if I want to faint or collapse trying.
What did I do, I took 2 sachets of Strikers bitters, waited like 4 to 5hrs later and I went back to the toilet. You need to see how easy the stool came out without stress.

What a joke. First of all NAFDAC can't possibly enforce age access laws. This is a country where 15-16 year old kids have voters card and participate in elections, talk less of buying alcohol.
And if you think children can't afford 1,500 or 2,500 for alcohol, then you don't know children of nowadays. Same children that are now spending thousands of naira to buy different grades of weed and drugs.
Those who will drink will drink, in fact, bottle alcohol will even make them more indulgent.
