This also reduces Wike's leverage against Fubara and Tinubu because it is now in his own best interest to ensure neither Atiku nor Makinde emerge. Tinubu no longer needs to promise him much to get him to get to work.

Why not tell Tinubu to step down and support Obi, a Southeasterner then. Osinbajo was VP in the 8 years of Buhari. Obasanjo also had his 8 years from the Southwest. Atiku’s Northeast has never produced a president and he's within his rights to contest.

We know that already that Atiku is ADC ticket holder and the leadership of the party are not even considering obi at all because Atiku and the North bluntly turned obi request down for betraying atiku in 2023 build up and joined LP so obi is never n the picture at all we are very much aware of that and that was why when obi foolishly joined ADC no single word of welcome from atiku, el rufai, Mark, aregbe, mallami etc.
