A European man has stirred massive reactions online after visiting a dentist in Nigeria to fix his tooth, but the experience did not go as planned.

The man shared his excitement immediately after the procedure was first done. He was so happy that he even kissed the doctors on their foreheads while expressing his joy. However, his excitement was short-lived when he discovered that the tooth he had just fixed fell out the same day while he was in transit.

He later returned to the dentist to have it fixed again. After the second procedure, he shared another update saying it had been redone and looked more stable, expressing hope that it wouldn’t fall out again. Unfortunately, he was left disappointed when the tooth reportedly fell out again just three days later.
The man then took to his social media page to warn the public, saying: “Don’t go to a dentist in Nigeria, please don’t.”

The viral video has since generated mixed reactions. Some people condemned his warning, arguing that he was damaging the reputation of other qualified dentists in Nigeria, since he only visited one clinic and should not generalize. Others, however, agreed with him and expressed frustration about the state of medical services in the country.

Lol...I can relate. So many quacks posing as professionals. The first time I decided to whiten my teeth, I went to a dentist.

Instead of her to tell me she didn't have the necessary tools or that tooth whitening wasn't her thing, she was going back and forth telling me about the consequences of tooth whitening, and how it can result in death given my type of dentition.

I settled for just washing, and for more than two years, I experienced teeth sensitivity which made me uncomfortable. Nigerian professionals are the worst.

People go to the dentist in the US and end up dead.

I currently know someone who had a tooth extraction in the US and is still having issues from the surgery.
In fact, the man is getting worse by the day. People are praying for his quick recovery.

I also know people who went to Nigeria for medical services and are very satisfied.

People like you are the problem of Nigeria.

I went to Turkey for my crowns 4 years ago, and I'm very satisfied with the result. This was after I was warned not to try it by many US dentists.

That was his experience. I have had horrible ones too - at the hands of European dentists.

Why should I agree with his one-dimensional take, when MummyJapan purposely travelled to Nigeria for dental work last year.
To cap it all, the treatment and quality of care she received can only be described in superlative terms.
