Daddy freezy just confirmed that las las school is a scam, especially the Nigerian higher institutions. . And I kinda agree with him on that. Coz you can't expect someone like peller who's already doing well in his field to come and join you in your universities where majority of your lecturers would be milking him ![]() |

I would guess that not more than 30 % of Nigerians in the UK make up to £50,000 per year. The man's suggestion that most Nigerians in the UK don't make up to £200,000 is off the mark. I don't think up to 2% of Nigerians in the UK make up to that amount. Even amongst the native population, very very few make £200,000 annually. Na so UK easy? |

Toolegit123:School is probably a scam if you have other productive means. Having nothing and having the opportunity to get an education and calling it a scam is beyond stupidity. |

School is not a scam. I strongly believe every child should complete at least secondary school before venturing into anything else, whether digital skills, entrepreneurship, or handwork. Having an SSCE should be the minimum foundation you can give yourself. Education helps you understand the basics of life, improves your ability to reason, communicate, and make better decisions. Whatever path you choose after secondary school, be it tech, trades, or business, your level of education will always show in the way you think and how you handle your craft. School is important. It builds discipline, structure, exposure, and the confidence to navigate the world. And even in the handiwork industry, the difference is clear between someone who is educated and someone who isn’t. |

What amount of work does he put in that makes $800k per month too small for it? The US president earns $400k per annum and those guys don't even sleep. IShowSpeed or whatever his name is should quit YouTube if he thinks he's underpaid |

Toolegit123:School wasn’t designed to make you money. You go to school for knowledge. It is a must for everyone to be educated. If I’m being honest, I’ve only met a handful of people that needs to be educated more than the Peller dude. |

Lickinsidetoto3:Please drop that idea at once. Everything we learnt in school is people's long-term and well-calculated efforts to explain to learners how this mysterious life or world works. However, as we journey in life, there are things we learn by ourselves that are not taught in school because nobody can teach you everything. That's why at the end of a university program, students are mandated to do a research study based on what they were taught and present their findings but add something new to the body of knowledge. |

Education serves to polish/improve your talent....it's your talent/skills that brings financial freedom beyond your education. I just wonder how ishowspeed is spending, investing or wasting that amount of money monthly that many can only dream of. |

I agree and also disagree. One of the main aims of getting formal education is to acquire knowledge, information and a skill set that can improve your standard of living and most likely translate to wealth. Another reason is to learn etiquette, people skills and sophistication/finesse that denotes exposure and higher learning. If you are industrious or a creative like Peller, already doing your own thing profitably, with clear potential for immense growth, I advise that you stick to it and embark on smart and solid investments. We have billionaires around the world who dropped out of college or didn't go at all and they can hold their own in any gathering. We also have very successful people who didn't finish high school and it doesn't show in their speech. Now, these guys didn't drop out because they couldn't cope with academics. Most of them needed to build a brand that required 💯% focus on their hustle and school was interfering. Some, for financial reasons. Cosmas Maduka dropped out of primary school and I have attended events where he was a resource person. If Femi Otedola didn't recently reveal that he did not finish high school, no one would had guessed. Peller has done really well. He should just try and attend some kind of finishing school for men's etiquette and he will be fine. |

DeLaRue:Hmm, if they earn £50,000 per annum, if average house rent in the UK falls within £1,200 to £1,500 per month, excluding other essential bills and taxes. . Is there really any much difference between the hard life or suffering in Nigeria and that which is presented to them over there in the UK? Asides food security which is obviously better over there. |

Zackattack:…If this was the purpose of school all from the start, no parent would have wasted mental, physical efforts and even taking some risks to send their children to school, things some parents still do today. Education can be gotten from home, church etc The idea of school started during the industrial revolution, when industrialists needed a form of specialized labour to work in their factories, in exchange for a piece of money. It all about money, life has always been all about money. It a biological design. Over many centuries, this human desire has not changed, it is how we obtained it that continues to change; the means, the technology, the philosophy we use that changes. From being a warrior, to farmer, to trader, to scholar, to builder and now to this new age we are currently witnessing…. In every Ages, Those who quickly see the trends and jump on it, either by jumping on it themselves or sending their children along that part while they themselves clings to old ways of doing things usually go on to become the tycoon of that Age, they stay at the apex due to their early advantage. It either one adapt or one die, this goes on forever. It is the painful process of evolution. |
