I can't remember him ever being vocal about the unnecessary loss of life in Benue.

What you are criticizing that man for is what men and women who grew up with their fathers and love of their fathers can only understand. It can never be understood by the children of irresponsible fathers.

Someone goes on a public interview to share his biggest regret of not having close bonds with his 8 kids because they all live apart....why we no go comment. You cant eat your cake and have it.

Any absent parent will always have that regret. If you like provide all the whole world...children value your precense more than your presents.

He loves them , they love him...but they are friendly strangers to him. He has to be figuring out each person's character as they grow older because he was not there to know each one everyday.

You no monitor home work, you were not there for their first walk, no their first words, or teach them to climb trees and read. Or hear them just about their teachers, fights and friends

You just visit them when you can...you be visitor now

Maybe his not being around them often is due to his activities and not necessarily because he had them with different ladies.
He is rich enough to own a big house that can have all the kids stay together with him. Though I understand the valid point you have made.

Dude complicated his life by himself. When the kids are still very little, you wont feel it much. It is when they have started growing and forming their own character and having their own individual lives that you will realize that you messed up.

I've seen often busy traveling fathers who on their death beds said that is one thing the regret...not being present in their children's lives.

The kids grow up, the recognize the sacrifices and provision of the father...nevertheless, something is still missing.


The absent or busy parent always knows.
The kids may not even sense it.
