School is not a scam. I strongly believe every child should complete at least secondary school before venturing into anything else, whether digital skills, entrepreneurship, or handwork. Having an SSCE should be the minimum foundation you can give yourself.

Education helps you understand the basics of life, improves your ability to reason, communicate, and make better decisions. Whatever path you choose after secondary school, be it tech, trades, or business, your level of education will always show in the way you think and how you handle your craft.

School is important. It builds discipline, structure, exposure, and the confidence to navigate the world. And even in the handiwork industry, the difference is clear between someone who is educated and someone who isn’t.

This is a perfect summation of why there must be NO compromise when it comes to earning basic literacy skills in secondary (high) school at a bare minimum, and tertiary university education ideally.

Schooling is not the only path to knowledge, but arrogance is the clearest sign of ignorance. The truly wise person does not mock others, he understands that every path has its discipline.

Don't mind them Daddy Freeze. In Nigeria, if you are not doing a 9-5 job, you are a Yahoo boy.

Even some of the so-called people that claim to go to school will join the bandwagon on profiling innocent hustling youths, because according to them, if you are working from home, you are into Yahoo. How myopic can some persons be?

If school is a scam, why is Daddy Freeze allowing his kids and stepchildren to go to school? He should withdraw them from school and encourage them to learn blogging or what Peller is doing. Going to school is more than just learning how to make money. People form relationships and business contacts in school. You can't get that from blogging. As rich as Peller is, there are many circles that he can't enter because he didn't further his education.

Like I said somewhere earlier, education can be obtained from anywhere, it is not constrained to a building or a particular geographic location.

When it comes to morals, values, ethical behavior, I learnt none of this things from school (primary to university) for real. This virtues were instilled within me at home. My mum set for me a tremendous example on how to live and behave, she was the one that thought me this mental virtues.

During my days in school, I have friends that came from good homes and their lives were shattered in the very place where they were sent to become fine men (I am not saying school is all bad)

Anyways, my focal point (if you read my previous comment) is that everything we strive to do simply originate from our animate instinct or desire which we might not be consciously aware of, regardless this primitive instinct fuels our life’s struggle and it been so for ages, and that inherent instinct is simply…………….

This is what is responsible for why you will value certain things and i will not. Why you will walk and speak well of certain people, organization, religion, philosophy, a way of doing things and someone else will speak against it or see it has bullshît. It all because this things preserves your own existence, improves the odds of you reproducing under the best condition but for someone else it does not have the same impact that you enjoys and such person will flag it as rubbish and praises that which preserves his own existence over yours has been better.

It is this inherent “surviving mode” imbedded in our brain that will help you decides if what I am saying is bullshït or not and vice versa.

Now at a point in time, school creates the best possible path to having the best life possible even a ding dang will know (during the industrial revolution) people where making cool money working in factories, mega companies and what do expect of humans wired to constantly look for the best opportunity to do? It simple, they jump on this next big thing.

However, that world is long gone but some are yet to see, especially people born during the industrial revolution (those that gain from it and those that missed the massive opportunity it create), they still think we are in a world where school offers the best possible path to big pay check but not anymore.
