Won't still be enough, I got mine 12m last year June, Nigerian used. Nevertheless, he might see for that price if he's patient, I have seen agents posting it on whatsapp for 7.5m, 8m etc.

Nope. Most of them are shipped to a port called Antwerp in Belgium. They then sail from Belgium to Lagos.

Some other shippers load from countries like France, Germany and Netherlands.

There is nothing wrong with this car.
I have used it for for almost 5 years now, travelled with my family and heavy load 3 times from the North Central to the East and back without any issue.

Common issues: the parts are relatively more expensive than Toyota but are durable when original part is purchased.

The brake will require regular maintenance.

The legs...bushing, camber, tie rods should be checked regularly.

The engine is aluminum. Don't let your oil fall below the gauge and you will be fine.

Strong, fuel efficient, rugged, finer than it's Toyota equivalents, and currently common in many cities

It's the legs and suspension you should be concerned about. Also ensure regular servicing as the aluminum engine doesn't like overheating.

If the car overheats anytime, just stop and park it. Else some things may melt and damage.

Just make sure you have a can of engine oil at home so you can be doing top up from time to time. Don't ever go beyond 3 months before any oil change. It can be less if you move around a lot with the car. Hyundai engines are notorious for oil shortening.

I just replaced the engine of my 2017 Elantra and it cost me an arm and a leg. And that is despite ensuring I bring the car to the garage for oil change at every service interval. Premium oil change here is $59.99.

I have a foreign used for 10.5m though.

Hyundai and Kia parts are usually very expensive, scarce, and the car doesn't have second hand value. Mechanics sometimes avoid repairs on Korean vehicles.

And I think that’s due to not using the required viscosity of the ATF oil needed. This will affect the gear(transmission). That’s according to the research I have made on my own Elantra2008.

Lexus is ok, but a little bit higher to maintain..... If this is actually Ur first car, go for any good Toyota or honda, and don't be in a hurry to buy, don't even send anyone to do inspection on Ur behalf....

Why did I say Toyota or Honda, their parts are everywhere, mechanics are everywhere, they don't usually have any electrical problems, they don't break down easily, Thier parts don't usually develop faults...

So u have less frustration, but if u have enough money, u can go for the Hyundai, but u will have to get a special mechanic and electrician that is a specialist to be doing the routine maintenance for u...

Once Ur Hyundai enters bad electrician hand, trust me u will sell off the car at a giveaway price....(I've been driving for over 17 years now)

It has, as long as you're not desperate about the sell.... But it will definitely take more time getting a buyer that'll price it well compared to Toyota.

Exactly 💯 I bought mine naija used, but ever since I fixed every problems I noticed after buying it, I have been driving it for months without going to the mechanic, except whenever I intend changing break pads and oil, just as you rightly made mentioned above.
