3.- Oversight is an Essential and Should be Yearly- Part of the Legislatures Function in any DEMOCRACY,
- but it is hardly done in Nigeria because the PAST- have shown that our Legislatures have their Own Sinister Motives,
• - But NIGERIANS wants them to be Truthful and TRANSPARENT 🪟 - Not by Arms twisting - the Executives - Ministers or Depts Heads ( by Ensuring No Corruption is Involved,in their Dealings)
- Remember the Elumelu- House Committee On Power Sector that is SINE- DIE- Till Today.

4.If Legislatures Do Not Promptly Approved Budgets ,
- How do we Expect the Depts, Agencies ,etc -to Perform On Yearly Basis?
5.If and When Legislatures don't Approve the Budgets on Timely Basis- For Each Year,
•How Do Contractors ( Local And Foreigners ) get Paid for the Works or Jobs ?
6. Are the Lawmakers- Really Working,
Or Are they just to Seat in Abuja- and Collect the Over N30-Millions - Salaries and Allowances being allegedly Paid every months?
• Our National Assembly MUST DO their Oversight Functions - No Matter the Noise,
Assembly Members MUST be Seen to be Working - With Facts And Approval For Depts, Agencies MUST BE TIMELY MET ,
- NO CARRY OVER OF BUDGETS FUNDS- BECAUSE IT BECOMES A BIG PROBLEMS IF NOT DONE.
7• OUR assembly Must Really Scrutinized these Depts,the Agencies ,
- As Many of these Agencies,Depts, Ministries - Are Not Functional Effectively,Yet Most Budgets Are Collected - Without NIGERIANS Seen Any Impacts on the Masses,
•FOR EXAMPLE,
- Where is the Impact of Power Sector ?
- No Light 🕯️ 🚨 anywhere today in Nigeria, but More Darkness, 🌑 yet What Happens To The BUDGETS ?
i-Where are the Transformers - at how much ?
ii- Where are the Prepaid- Metres - For NIGERIANS?
iii-How Many Have Been Supplied to NIGERIANS?

This is beyond politics. Governance comes with accountability. He was simply being grilled about contracts and how he has handled funds under his ministry. Oshiomhole is an APC senator and a Southerner too. Unless you are directly benefitting from Umahi, I don't see how this benefits you. He won't also be minister forever. There will always be a day for reckoning.
