While everyone is busy shouting about "IReV" and "Electronic Transmission," we are collectively ignoring the elephant in the room. Whether the results are sent by carrier pigeon or high-speed satellite, the outcome remains the same because the foundation is broken. It is time to stop the emotional outbursts and face the mathematical reality of Nigerian elections. If you are a "Obidient" or an "Atikulate" fan waiting for a server to grant you victory, you have already lost.

The Process is a Smoke Screen: The energy spent debating the method of distribution—paper vs. digital—is wasted. In a system where the "Nigerian Factor" exists, controversy is a feature, not a bug. Even if we use Blockchain today, one side will still claim the "chain" was tampered with. We are fighting over the envelope instead of the letter.

The Culture of Corruption vs. Technology: Nigeria has not reached the level of institutional integrity where technology can override human greed. Our "corrupt culture" makes adherence to laws unrealistic. Technology only works when the humans operating it have a "Vanguard" sense of duty. Currently, we have a "Commercial" mindset running a "Digital" process. It will always fail.

The "Shock Therapy" Solution: Reduce the Voters If you want real-time, uninterrupted transmission that cannot be manipulated, we must face the infrastructure gap. Nigeria cannot accurately capture and transmit 30 million+ votes across rural areas without "glitches."

My Recommendation: For 2027, we should strategically cap the registered voter base to 15 million high-quality, verified voters representing the nation’s demographics.
Why? It is easier to secure, transmit, and audit 15 million data points than 30 million.
The Reality: It is better to have 15 million votes that are 100% transparent than 80 million registered names where 50% are ghost votes and the transmission fails.

Conclusion: Accept the system for what it is or change the scale. Protests on X (formerly Twitter) and Nairaland arguments are just noise. We need a "Total System Reset," not just a new app on an INEC tablet.

What do you think? Are we ready for the truth, or do we prefer the comfort of our delusions?

You try to be half smart and half fuuulish. You pointed out corruption but you don't want a system that can go to an extent in reducing corruption.

Did you watch senator Dickson say the house have completed their consultations, even with INEC, and INEC said they have the capacity to conduct electronic transmission.

Do you know better than the house of representative, where there is atleast a representatives from all corner of the country?.

You don't want the nation to make progress because of an individual ambition. Very bad.

Please answer this: At what time do you think Nigeria will be ripe for electronic transmission? . Since you don't want Nigeria to make progress.

In marketing, Advertising and Politics - lies make sales. If a Poliitican lie during a campaign - it is marketing. I don't imply INEC or the lawmaker lied - but often, their words are categorized as PR stunts.

INEC saying they have the capacity for transmission are being optimistic. But no one sees the future in clear pictures - they can only hope for it with planning.

I want the nation to make progress - but only if we have a population that is less of a typical Nigerian and more of a reformed Nigerian - that is when Nigeria will be ripe for electronic transmission.

I hope I've been able to fool you with my smart reply...
