Though I dislike Atiku immensely as a dishonorable, completely selfish and self-absorbed individual, it is his right to run to be President in so far as no rule exclusively precludes him from doing so.

The nuanced reality is however very different. Atiku knows the predictable consequences of a Fulani replacing another Fulani (Buhari) as President in a currently very divided and disunited nation as has never been experienced before. Yet he attempted to do so in 2023.

He thought he would win the primary over Buhari. He doesn't sit down to calculate properly. When Buhari won the APC primary , he just had to support because he couldn't go back to PDP.

Even last election he should have handled wike/G5 better.

Atiku just played into tinubus hand that had been over calculating and planning to take over once the north 8 years is over. Tinubu has good political advisors that he listens to, but over politicking is his problem that's why governance scorecard is zero.
