Governor Fubara sacks all commissioners Special Advisers with immediate effect by fergie001(mod): 8:49pm On Feb 12

RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT

GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, has dissolved the State Executive Council.

His Excellency, the Governor, has therefore directed all Commissioners and Special Advisers to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most Senior officers in their Ministries with immediate effect.

His Excellency further expresses his deepest appreciation to the outgoing members of the Executive Council wishing them the best in their future endeavours.

As a gov, if someone is fighting you with federal power, state legislative, and federal court, u won't survive more than 3 months.

Fubara has survived 3years and still counting, give him a break.
If Fubara had taken this fight the way must of u want, the entire state will be militarized, the legislative will start impeachment with heavy military backup and Abuja will remain silent and watch

You need to add when the president is a politician, you can't win any political fight against his high ranking appointee as a governor.

Wike is the most dominant political entity in Rivers state,and there is little a seating governor can do.His ability to still retain control of over 90% of the Rivers house members,is the biggest problem for Fubara.

All those APC cheiftains that were supporting Fubara, the moment they saw the crowds Wike pulled in each local government and the acceptance and popularity of Wike in Rivers, they must have changed their mind.

Online insults and attacks from nonentities is different from reality. Wike is very popular in Rivers. E shock Fubara too.

And those wailers that were saying Wike has been used and dumped, they have hid their faces.

It's easy to abuse Fubara, but when you do not have some control of the assembly, you are in trouble.
Even Trump is doing anything possible including rigging to make sure that he does not lose control of the House of Assembly. Once you lose that, you are at their mercy.
