Omoh you're observant, I also read that part. How possible he has an intention to hurt them and when he locked one inside the room with himself, they were still able to be texting each other. And while will the other girl be waiting instead of running outside to go call for help.

He took their pictures and threatened to release them online if they exposed him... You missed that bit? Isn't it possible they were eventually encouraged to damn the consequences and seek justice? I think the police should investigate.. opinions like yours will discourage victims from speaking out.. except of course you have hard evidence they are trying to implicate him, it's better to let the police investigate without hurrying to dismiss the lady's story

Oh yes! I missed that part of the pictures. But even at that, getting him picked up immediately should stop this move by the guy. The police will see to it that he does not do such a thing. If I had taken note of the picture aspect, maybe I would not have written anything.
