Popular Nigerian preacher and founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has once again set social media and religious circles on fire after making a bold revelation about his luxury watch collection.

In a viral video currently making the rounds online, the outspoken pastor disclosed that he does not buy the expensive watches he is often seen wearing, stressing that many of them are gifts from people who appreciate the impact of his work.
According to Pastor Ibiyeomie, one of the watches in his possession is valued at $2 million (over ₦3 billion) — and shockingly, he claims he has not even worn half of the watches he owns.
“I don’t buy the watches I wear. Someone gave me a two million dollar watch. I haven’t even worn half of my watches. The ones you see on social media are just a small part of my collection,” he said.
The pastor went further to state that if people were to see the full extent of his watch collection, many would literally faint, emphasizing that what is shown online is only a fraction of his wealth.
“If they saw all of them, they would faint,” he added.
Addressing critics who often question how pastors acquire such luxury items, Pastor Ibiyeomie attributed his blessings to problem-solving and value creation, not personal greed or church funds.
“I’m getting watches because I’m solving problems,” he explained.
His statement has since sparked mixed reactions online, with supporters praising him as a man enjoying the rewards of his labor, while critics argue that such displays of wealth clash with the humility expected of religious leaders.
As the debate continues, one thing is clear: Pastor David Ibiyeomie knows how to command attention, and this latest revelation has once again placed him at the center of Nigeria’s ongoing conversation about wealth, faith, and prosperity preaching.

I'm always happy when these people keep shaiting on gullible religious people. That's what you get for being dumb. More watches to this smart guy, he knows the game... keep giving them hope that when they bring more to you, their problems will be solved and they will be like you grin cheesy.

The barest problem we have is hunger and insecurity, if you cannot solve I don't know which problem you are solving. But the sheeples will come and defend. Stupid sheepls

Guess what. David, you will die and be buried. None of these watches will follow you. Instead they will be given or dashed out if they are still there.

This is what people don't know about having a connection... You don't have to pay for things before having them.

Most things that I use, I can't even afford at the moment. But God has put some good people in my life to help and bless me. And I will never take that for granted.

Last Ileya, I got a free shoe of 1.2 million Naira with clothes. Can I buy it naturally?

The last 2 weeks, because I needed to attend a party, I got a shoe for 300k. Can I normally go to the market and buy a 300k shoe?

Sometimes when people criticize the people in government for using expensive things, I just laugh.

All these things, I prefer if they turn it to cash and give it to me, but they will never do so because they want me to be back and fit back in the system.
Are your friends in government using expensive things because they steal money that should employ well paid workers to make basic services and utilities available for everyone?

Utilities like water supply, which are guaranteed to households in the sane climes where expensive wrist watches are made huh

Abi you know that Swiss, German, British etc people drink detty, smelling, disgraceful, shitty water for kwashiorkor bellies ni?

Two million dollars is equivalent to approximately ₦2,706,980,377 Nigerian Naira, based on the current exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,353.49 NGN. Two Billion, Seven Hundred and Six Million, Nine Hundred and Eighty Thousand, Three Hundred and Seventy-Seven Naira.

Except the God in Bible says nothing about extravagance.

You are getting watches because you are solving problem? Go and solve Nigeria's power crises.
No one earning legit income anywhere in the world will gift another man a 2 million dollar watch.
You are wrong cos there are even legitimate Nigerian billionaires without government of any level support who can actually pull that but few anyway.

Me too

What made me begin dey look am in 10D was one comedy he did on his pulpit while preaching.
He was actually ministering but to me what he did was pure theatrics, complete comedy.

He called out a man and commanded him to fall asleep. That one too fell like he was sleeping.
He now asked another person to wake him up, he already hinted that no one will be able to wake him up. So that one too played along. Doing like he was really sleeping and can not be woken up.

Then I heard, right now, he will stand up if you wake him.
That one too tried waking him and he stood up immediately.

Accordingly to him. That's the power of the Holy Ghost at work.

See what these guys have reduced the Holy Gjost to.

Unbelievable.

My point is that, they don't have to be in the government before getting expensive things.

Don't associate expensive things to fraud, I can't afford it but I am using it very well.
