Yea i notice this about the car..I drive a Hilux 4plug turbo charged...I noticed when I ever i jam this lexus for highway, it doesnt come close unlike Lexus ES350.
But this particular lexus 250 looks more sporty and has a loud Exhaust.

Being sporty with loud exhaust is how it camouflage its weakness. 😁

Hilux is in another world of its own..

To be fair, the type of fuel matters. Nigeria doesn't have premium fuel, which helps in speed.

Great POST and spot on! IS250 is a well known laggard. But some people still believe its the best things after jollof rice. The REAL DEAL which they fail to properly identify is the IS350 and recently the IS500.

Those are the REAL BEAST churning out SMOOTH power with absolute GRACE.

Well said. The difference in speed between the IS 250 and IS 350 is like night and day. A significant 100 horsepower difference. Don’t even attempt to use a Lexus ES350 or Benz C300 (and even some C350s) to race with the IS 350 or higher, you will be disgraced.

I never said the IS250 was “slow”. It’s a 2.5 direct injection V6. 😎. All I am saying is that, with the way it looks and handles, it should have been faster.

Have you driven the equivalent IS350 sir?

Yes, the IS 350 comes with both a direct injection and port injection V6 so it doesn’t suffer from carbon buildup like IS 250.
Bottom line don’t look at the shape of every Lexus Is and assume it is a 250. First verify before you thing about engaging it in a drag race. E get why
