As far back as i can remember from watching the festival on NTA, the water has always been muddy like this.. It seems thats the natural colour of the river

This is what tinubu went there to watch while people are being slaughtered left, right and all over the place.

If not for insecurity in the North, by now this festival is supposed to capture global attention in international tourism.

Congratulations 👏 to all the organizer's.
Despite all the kidnappings and adoption in the North, despite all the unsafe roads in the North, they still went ahead to organize this year festival.
Kudo's to all the brave fishermen who traveled all the distance from Sokoto state to be part of the festival.

May God answer Nigeria with a better President next year.
A President who truly and genuinely will end insecurity.

THEY ARE THERE. I SAW MANY ON AL JAZEERA COVERAGE OF THE FESTIVAL. PROBABLY THE CROCS ARE USED TO HUMAN IN THAT RIVER.

Those people who support a burial candidate are already gnashing their teeth at this news.

I love how the river is preserved, no regular fishing activities there.

Of course their are plenty of crocs can easily catch one with simple net. But believe me all the crocs there are harmless except the feral ones that managed to drift in from other waters.

With that crowd I doubt you’ll see anything meaningful. They must’ve caught all the fish long before the festival due to lack of proper control of the ‘fishing fields’ ahead of the festival. Hunger too
