He won't be driving uber if he spent half of 300k usd investing in commercial projects in Nigeria, especially in Lagos. That's one thing I'm so proud I did after I japa. Nigerian women a brainwashed in US to challenge their husbands on everything they do. Most Nigerian women begin to forget their culture and values months after arriving in US or UK. Please don't quote me. Just make your point. |

Marriage is overrated. Know this and Know Peace. Marriage is not for everyone. Stop wasting millions on marriage, is not worth it. Make it modest. |

Kalulu44:That would be the red line and I'm sure she won't dare! But most other things that lead to marital issues can be overcome by constant forgiveness of your partner even after showing your displeasure |

We told young men to stop spending too much in marriage, over spending in marriage never mean it will last infact its just show of arrogant and total waste of resources and its bond to fail. Why will you spend N60m on wedding pls for what? Is wedding a Ltd or Plc or what for you to spend such on our present day babes that has no shame who can dump you any moment so why? |

Marriage is a risk .... strange that people tend to celebrate the wedding ceremony more than the marriage itself. Even this hard economy is not helping matters, as some women solely see marriage as an escape route out of poverty thus putting more pressure on men. One thing is certain, we have more loveless marriages than before. |

helinues:The Law is not really necessary where common sense should suffice...! Before even getting emotionally attached to a lady, a smart guy should quickly count the cost of a marital future in the likelihood of it happening, and if her background signals exploitation, he should beat a hasty retreat. Let our Nigerian people keep up with their atrocious cultures of greed, extortion and extravagance...! No wonder weddings and marriages are becoming more and more unattractive to young men today. |

Let's put things in perspective. He spent N60 million on the wedding .. his salary is N37 million ...per month. The marriage crashed because they didn't know each other well enough ... found out when they started living together. Maybe she didn't know he was an abuser ....or maybe he didn't know she was a gold digger. If she is a gold digger guess she waited until there was enough time in the marriage to qualify for alimony. A reminder that money can't buy love ....happiness.... nor peace if mind |
