It's been over a week or two, and some people are still dragging Obi Cubana—don't patronise or ignore his business, etc. Some of the people saying this do not even have the means to patronize his business to start with. I still do not understand what his business has got to do with the fact that he has made a political choice. Obi Cubana has not denigrated anyone or made any derogatory remarks about Mr Peter Obi. All he said was that he would support Tinubu, which is within his rights. What's the fuss about!

Some people keep doing this nonsense all the time. There are a whole lot of people supporting Tinubu, Tony Elumelu, and over 90 per cent of the business community today are all supporting Tinubu. Mention any big business name from Femi Otedola that isn't supporting Tinubu. Why are you people not cancelling them? Why are you not saying they shouldn't patronize their businesses? Some of you people are saying these things actually work in some of the companies of these people. Why not make your own decisions and pitch your political choice?

Sometimes you people go overboard with this silliness! Today, three of the South East Governors are in the APC. Campaign for your preferred candidate, leave this daily blackmail and all sorts. All these videos and coordinated attacks are silly and nauseating. But I am happy there are significant level of pushback. Recall, this was the same type of nonsense they did in 2023. This is not politics. Going after people’s personal lives and means of livelihood is not politics! Some people went as far as labelling Obi Cubana a drug baron, internet fraudster, and all manner of demeaning names. If he goes after anyone now to come and present proof, there will be screams all over the place. We have people from the South West, North Central, and all over the Country supporting Obi, and no one is destroying their reputation or cancelling them. Why is it that it is only when Peter Obi is not being supported that we see all manner of shenanigans all over the place?

Going forward, this madness would be resisted. Even God gave us the ability of a freewill and choices, how then would a mortal play god over the choices of another! This is how cults are formed when people cannot have differing opinions. Please, allow people be.
