Tico exposed all our defensive and midfield frailties last night. It was a perfect game plan from Simeone. Yes we have key injuries and the second half officiating was poor but we were already badly exposed in the first half. I just hope the team doesn't allow this to derail our season especially regarding laliga cause lot of us saw this coming but probably in the UCL

Anyways it's only Copa del Rey 🤪

We can lose this game. Let's focus on bigger trophies and learn from this nonsense match.

I'm not going to lose sleep on this one.
It's not about the competition. It's the way we were beaten. Four goals without us on the score sheet by halftime plus it could have been even more like the sorloth chance which he missed. We'll obviously be better at camp nou and beat them but i think tico have already done enough to qualify cause they'll still score this poor defence

Camera angle, I'm a clown I swear 😂😂😂
I'll carry the award. We'll meet in front.
grin grin grin
Meanwhile, Laliga broadcast, the camera angle is really poor compared to the EPL especially if you're streaming with a laptop or phone.

If both Raphinha and Pedri fail to play the 2nd leg, it's 100% over.

And why the need for p**rn though on top football gist. Seun should definitely take that down. Not necessary in sports section or nairaland as a whole.

FC Barcelona has sent formal letter/complaint to RFEF, CTA and co, relating to the blatant poor officiating in the league. The letter includes FIVE key points:

1. Lack of coherence in the disciplinary criterion

2. Contradictory criteria in handball actions inside the penalty area (even in matches officiated by the same referee)

3. Accumulation of relevant mistakes.

4. The use and transparency of VAR

(Millimetric decisions that have received no explanation. And lack of transparency in the publication of VAR audios)

5. Clear criteria when reviewing the monitor
(Perception of insecurity and inequality)

Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by jpmoriarti(m): 4:15pm On Feb 14
Barça have REQUESTED RFEF in a letter the Full Publication of ALL VAR audio recordings of the game against Atletico Madrid.

I love this. Time for playing nice guyz is over. We can't fold our hands while Real Madrid cheat their way to a title they hardly deserved.

Your match was against Athletico but it's Real Madrid that wants to cheat you to a title.
JP stop fooling for once in your life.

Everything related to poor refereeing decisions against Barcelona is always a bid to help Real Madrid directly or indirectly.

Real Madrid is a club borne out of dictatorship and Spain's politics with sports, still operate under the Franco's dictatorial regime. It is obvious that since Real Madrid cannot win the Copa del rey, then Barcelona must not be allowed to win it either.

Cases included in FC Barcelona’s complaint to the Royal Spanish Football Federation

- Handball by Aurélien Tchouaméni in El Clásico compared to the handball given against Alejandro Balde vs Levante.
- Red card shown to Frenkie de Jong in El Clásico compared to no red for Giuliano Simeone in a similar action.
- Disallowed goals at the Reale Arena by Carlos del Cerro Grande involving Robert Lewandowski last season and Lamine Yamal this season.
- Disallowed goal by Pau Cubarsí vs Atlético Madrid.
- Penalty appeal for Lamine Yamal vs RCD Mallorca that was not awarded.

Nice one. I hope La Liga won't try to dodge this suit from Barça. It’s way too obvious that the league has an agenda against us. If we keep staying quiet, we won't smell a trophy for years—we’ll just end up mid-table like Atletico or Betis.

Let’s be real, Barça isn't at their best right now, but handing the league to "Penalty FC” on a platter definitely isn't the way to make the league better.

Why bringing Cancelo back when bums like Balde and Kounde will start every match?
Nonsense

Atletico swallowing 3 goals against Vallecano. Is this Barca team really telling me they can't score 4 unreplied goals against Atletico without Raphinha and Pedri?

What shall it profit you to beat Barcelona 4:0 and then lose 3:0 to Rayo Vallecano only few days later? grin

It depends on the Atletico you jam that day. They've been moving like Jekyll and Hyde lately. Beat Betis 0-5, only to lose 1-0 at home to the same team three days later. Beat Barca 4-0 on Thursday, just lost 3-0 to Rayo. Very inconsistent team.

Peak phooling.

Real Madrid wants to prevent them from winning CDR so that Real madrid that was eliminated weeks ago will win it through Atletico Madrid.

We complained about Ref decisions but they were happy because they were beneficiaries.

Leave that Cule to keep crying, any misfortune that happens to Barca is Real Madrid's fault.
His tears should keep coming

Your team got all the calls last season and still ended up losing all domestic trophies.

What exactly were you complaining about last season? You got all the dubious calls in your favour, just like it is happening again this season. Tchoumane dubious handball in elclassico that wasn't called as penalty, so many soft penalties from dives, Barcelona goal at the Bernabeu that crossed the line and yet wasn't awarded, the historic robbing of Almeria at the Bernabeu, RMTV howling the referees and threatening them and their families. Penalties awarded to you right, left and centre. Opponents being sent off especially when the match is hard for Real Madrid.

That was why Lamine Yamal said you all rob and then complain. That was why nobody took you all serious when Real Madrid made their lame complaint to the RFEF about some perceived referee errors. Everyone knew it was a smokescreen to cover up your cheating and broad daylight robbery of teams especially in that Santiago Bernabeu.

That infamous stadium was supposed to be the citadel of Spanish football in terms of epic performances, but it has now turned to a den of thieves, where teams go to get robbed.

See the penalties for last season. Real Madrid has already surpassed it this season.

Raphinha has received medical clearance and is available for the game against Girona this night.

Injuries has really disrupted the Brazilian this season. Its getting really frustrating.

Hopefully, he can gain some rhythm and consistency away from the treatment table.

Raphinha starts. I hope he’s fully recovered from his injury niggles.

Hoping for a good performance tonight and the 3 points.

Vamos.

Zero chance with Dejong playing DM. Impossible is an understatement sef.

If you play Ansu Fati as a DM you stand a better chance!

Tico heavily rotated their team cause of their upcoming UCL playoff tie on Wednesday. The damage was already done by the time the likes of Alvarez and lookman were subbed in the second half. Simeone has already given up on laliga cause of the other competitions

Flick can be quite stubborn. Cubarsi and Eric tonight too. I can foresee him using this or a cubarsi martin formation in our next UCL games
