Deluxe8000:by the way, what's the current state of the battery; is it working well and you just wanna dispose it off or it's still works to some extent ? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Marykhay: 7:56pm On Feb 15 |
bassdow:But I’m getting it this time from MRReed at least he is a reliable fellow from what we’ve all seen so far. And I know too well that there are different brands and they come in different prices. I didn’t commit any crime if I want the cheaper brand 😭. |

osayuwamwen:is yours the 24v? First hand feedback from an end-user will do, please stop listening to these installers. Once your inverter bring light their job is done, nothing concern them and the noise you will face after from the fans. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 10:07pm On Feb 15 |
Yes 24v, but most inverter fan are temperature/load controlled so if your load at night is not much I don't think yr inverter fan will come up fuckboys: |

Once again, you're better off buying an average leadAcid battery if you can't afford at least an average lithium based battery or don't have a trusted source. The cost of disappointments is much. Wouldn't bother asking why you didn't at least buy from those within the thread BUT no need as me and you know say the'rs appears more expensive compared to what was finally purchased. As per response to your plight; me sef don tire to dey tgalk almost same thing everyTime |

Good evening friends, For solar pv that has separate +ve and -ve cable, is it compulsory that both must be same length? I know battery cable must be same length due to resistivity. But for PV is it compulsory? Has anyone had issues when they used different length from pv array to inverter/cc? Thanks for your reply |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 5:49pm On Feb 17 |
rapheal5:It's widely available nationwide. You can get from Jumia at 330k, or from itel solar website at 304k. Get solar panel from a reliable seller or Fouani. Get an installer from your place. |

Unfaized:ARE YOU SAYING 1KWH BATTERY AND 300W INVERTER CAN HANFLE THEOSE ITEMS HE LISTED? ONLY THE TV IS ABOUT 100W OX FAN 18" ABOVE 90W 2 RECHARGEABLE FANS MORE THAN 100W ARE YOU LOOKING AT HIS BUDGET OR TELLING HIM WHATS ON GROUND LET HIM ADD HIS TOTAL LOAD WATTAGE AND SEE THE POSSIBILITY |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by rapheal5(m): 7:12pm On Feb 17 |
Jinko 550W solar panel is not a perfect or recommended match for the standard itel Power Tank (1000Wh/500W model, IESS-05K10N) due to voltage incompatibility. The maximum panel for it is 400w Unfaized: |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 7:32pm On Feb 17 |
capnies:It's a 500w inverter. Telling him considering budget and load. The Itel Power tank can handle his loads quite perfectly if properly managed. He won't be using all loads at same time you know. From personal experience it will serve well. You can even add a fridge to this load and use mostly during day time. If TV and non rechargeable fans go off by latest 11pm, yes it is very practical. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 7:34pm On Feb 17 |
rapheal5:The max voltage range for the powertank is 60v, the 550w panel is not up to 60v. Max current is 13.5 amps. Can handle 13.7 amps too (535w bifacial) Comes with an mppt charge controller, so yes it clips the excess current 0.2 which is negligible. |
