"Filled" means it has been initiated already; it can't be cancelled anymore. He or she should check the current status of the bid.

@Beeron

Pls I need a clarification.
I placed a bid over the weekend for some shares. The bid has gone through.

However, I selected Good till canceled with respect to time in force.

The status of my bid is now filled but I noticed I have still received multiple alerts from X-Alert regarding my trade.

Is it a system malfunction from NGX or do I need to still cancel the order. If I need to cancel I would appreciate advise on how to go about it. I have tried looking for it on the system but no luck.

It has reflected on my account.

Just wondering about the several messages I keep getting about the particular trade from X-Alert

I don't want to load another cash and it gets used for the previous one that has gone through

When your order status says FILLED, it means: All the shares you wanted have been bought, The order is completed
It is no longer active in the market, There is nothing left to cancel.

Even if you selected Good-Till-Cancelled (GTC), once the order is fully filled, the GTC instruction becomes irrelevant. It only matters if the order is still pending.

If you have any huge fund in MMF, kindly port your money to equity or stock. You can cash out after making a huge gain and port back to MMF or whatever.

Seems a lot of money is getting into stocks and equity currently and there doesn’t seem to be a ceiling.

I don't think this is feasible. Minimum holding period for equity is usually 90 days for most fund managers, others 180days.

Or are they not followed strictly?

There is a breaking fee which should be around 10-20 percent on the interest made only. I guess that’s the logic
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 2:53pm On Feb 16
You can withdraw your money at anytime, only your interest will be charged. I've withdrawn from Cardinal and Afrinvest, and I had no problems.

10%, I guess. However, if you have an equity account that has been currently active for a long time, you won't be charged.

It's about time to move some fund into equity via Cardinal stone, what is the right time of the day to initiate withdrawal and the right time to move in more fund into equity fund? @EquityM?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 4:02pm On Feb 16
For equity, you can fund it at anytime and withdraw at anytime.

Also, I have not utilised the wallet thing on Cardinal stone , how does it work? If I transfer some amount from any of my equity or fixed income into wallet do I get be taxed or see any reduction for transfer? And does one move to wallet to them do self transfer into your bank and or to move fund from one investment into another via the same platform - Cardinal stone in the case, from Fixed income to Equity?

Thanks.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 4:09pm On Feb 16
