Electronic transmission of election results, real time, from the polling unit to the IReV is possible. It can be done. This is adjudged and supported by INEC. It is what Nigerians demand. And this is attested to by the national outrage that greeted the Senate’s rejection of real time transmission of election results, the protests that followed and the attempts to occupy the National Assembly by civil society organisations. Nigeria’s progress should not be hobbled by Senators who set store only by perpetuating themselves in office at the expense of transparent elections and deferring to the wishes of their constituents. |

Real time no, but immediately after voting, yes. |

Trust APC to still find a way to manipulate the realtime transmission. Britain will educate them on how to do it. |

Yarimo believes that Tinubu will win before 12pm on election day but him and his goons are not in support of real time transmission … some people think that being upright and choosing to have integrity means you’re foolish. If Tinubu really wants to test his popularity and see if Nigerians appreciate his government, let him conduct an election where voting can be conducted in real time and everyone can see the polls reading. ![]() |

Real-Time Transmission of electoral results or nothing. If the opposition is not working hard to get the attention of the international community on this, then they're not going anywhere. We have a criminal as president. He can do anything to sit tight. APC in their opposition days went to America to lobby with Obama. Trump is ready to work hand-in-hand with Nigeria to ensure the appropriate things are done. If Nigeria get it right, believe me many African countries will follow suit. |

Some people have 30 governors but they're still scared of real time transmission. They just want to rig at all cost. BVAS does not even need network to transmit result so their lie is busted, and even at that, with Thier padded budget we can have star link if network is compulsory in some places |
| Re: Why We( Nigerians) Must Insist On Real Time Transmission Of Results by Vifx: 8:14pm On Feb 16 |
You can't possibly have "real time" transmission of results if the election election isn't done by electronic voting 😔 |
| Re: Why We( Nigerians) Must Insist On Real Time Transmission Of Results by ebuk4real(m): 8:15pm On Feb 16 |
Only criminals are afraid of real time transmission of collated election results. Till now, I am yet to see any APC person in support of it because they are certified criminals. Clowns |
| Re: Why We( Nigerians) Must Insist On Real Time Transmission Of Results by Heffalump(m): 8:16pm On Feb 16 |
We are sick and tired of election rigging in Nigeria. Those that want a better Nigeria, but are scared of electoral reform that will guarantee and deepen democracy in Nigeria should quickly examine their brains in a nearby psychia hospital. It's not normal for a man to be like that. |
| Re: Why We( Nigerians) Must Insist On Real Time Transmission Of Results by Chukwudi4naija(m): 8:18pm On Feb 16 |
If given the chance between network failure in remote areas and manipulation at the collation centre. Which one will you choose. Atleast, the availability of network in majority of places will still reflect accuracy and transparenc. |

Electronic transmission of elections results is a scam. Gala, malt, ♾️ branded caps, cups of Ijebu garri, ₦1000 per voter and one handful of local rice is the real deal. Say yes to manual transmission of result. |

Tax bills doesn't take a day or two to be approved, why then is electoral act taking generations to get approved |

Racoon:No system is immune to hacking. Those pushing hard for this obviously has ulterior motives. It's not hard to count your votes at polling units, add it up and if it does not add up, you can prove your case in court. |

Vifx:You know most of those things called Obidients just parrot anything they see online without any understanding whatsoever. How can you transfer a vote cast by the physical ballot in “real-time”? Most of them actually don’t know the meaning of the word, while the few who know the meaning are simply being mischievous I actually understand what they’re up to - they know they possibly can’t win the election, the hype has faded, they just want to use this to create a means of nullifying the elections in court by arguing that the entire results failed to follow the electoral act because not the entire results were 100% transmitted in real-time, which doesn’t make any sense since we don’t vote electronically. An interesting question to ask them is “what determines whether a result was transmitted in real-time or not?”…..because in real-time means without “noticeable delay”, which is quite ambiguous, so at what point in time (in absolute terms) do you classify a result transmitted as “not in real-time”? |

Leave Nigeria if you can,, if you can't hustle and make money to take care of your children and generation. Nigeria ain't getting better at least in the next 300 years. Racoon: |

PDPdestroyer:Those you mentioned just want votes to count. They want to vote, their votes counted, results uploaded on the portal in their presence, they go to inec result portal and find their own results there. How mischievous is that? Those people at the forefront are heroes of democracy, far better than asslickers and chained tinubu slaves who will never ask when Nigeria will be better for they and their children |

Wike have already shown politicians that be political relevant in Nigeria you must destroy ballot papers or change figures. Hope is going to do the same in the coming election. He have nothing to lose again just like Wike |

Heffalump:God bless you abundantly. If the opposition cannot go the extra mile to lobby foreign powers like America to force Nigerian government to implement realtime electronic transmission of polling unit election results, then they are not ready to fight for 2027 general election. APC did everything humanly and spiritually possible to lobby then US President Obama to help their fight to push out PDP. I expect opposition leaders to be lobbying for America as the father of democracy in the world, to persuade Nigerian government to implement this electronic transmission of polling unit election results, without that, Tinubu that I know won't sign it into law even if Senate pass the bill |
| Re: Why We( Nigerians) Must Insist On Real Time Transmission Of Results by Seeplusplus: 8:57pm On Feb 16 |
Let me tell you guys something most of you don't understand. If they finally pass this bill the way you guys want it to be passed, just know that they've found a way to beat, manipulate, or temper with the votes The whole drama about it's passage is because they've not gotten a clear manipulation technique they'll adopt. What I sha know is with or without E-Transmission of results, The Federal Republic of Nigeria will never, ever have a credible election through this close ballot system |

franchasofficia:Very correct! Just a call from Trump, like Obama called GEJ then, that if the normal thing is not done he will remove him by any means. You'll see how they will all become jittery and start doing the right thing. When it comes to cheating and party hooliganism some individuals will suddenly remember that Nigeria is a sovereign country. You can't be talking of sovereignty when the law of the land is not obeyed but trampled upon by some selected individuals who think they are so powerful to put the rest of the country under their feet. Your sovereignty as a country ends the moment your actions become a threat to human peace and freedom. You love sovereignty but yet hate true democracy and freedom. God punish devil! |
