Very correct. Apart from the house itself humans are generally evil and you don’t know what your cotenants are spiritually capable of. And then theres the street people also.

If you enter any street and you meet 5 idle people gossiping during work hours dont rent house in that area they are the demons of that area.

Let me tell you a story. Personal experience
I don’t usually do this, but here we are.

Does anyone know New Oko oba? Go ask of Ile Ogbo street.

The house there so bad that other residents carved out an estate just to be separated from that house and the neighbors. They literally made fence and gate and called the estate new ile ogbo estate.

I lived in that house personally.

Legend goes thus; (we later got to hear the story) that the landlady and the original owner of the land had a fight. Land grabbing issues.

Our lands lady illegally acquired the land back then. During the tussle and battles, original owner died and the family buried him on the land as a form of protest with some traditional rites.

Till today, the house is haunted. Real life haunting.

Whenever the landlady wants to visit the house from uk back then, she first sends a team of white garment prophets to come pray for 1 week before she comes home.

Strange things happened in real life.
You’d be inside the room and you’ll hear someone sweeping the compound. When you come inspect you’ll see broom marks on the floor but you’re the only person in the building at that time.

If you say it’s a lie, I hear you. This is personal experience

This should have been in the Christianity and others segment.

This is because most people here don't believe in the supernatural, whereas it's more real than the natural.

How do you explain a landlord that tied the names of all his tenants on a tortoise in a well and subsequently they all regressed, while he progressed? We live indeed in a wicked world.

While there should be a 50-50 balance between the supernatural and natural, ignoring the supernatural can be really dangerous.

Not a bad advice but praying over a new apartment put aside those things that might not be pleasant.
