F valentine's day 3.5/10
I’ll be serious about the rating and it’s not accurate, I didn’t really like the storyline because what happen to her Feb 14 also happened to me too so I don’t find it fun to watch.

Marty Supreme 10/10
This movie is beautiful in every aspect and I didn’t know how 2hrs felt short while watching it………….it’s been long since I watched Hollywood 2hrs movie without a ht break and this is definitely the best version of Timothee ever.

Timothee use bad mouth follow everyone in this movie and at the end he will say sorry and sometimes I feel sorry for the main girl and her courage for not giving up after all the insult and she almost died for love.

The romance in this movie definitely hit different, I’ll like to see more of this love version in other movies with good actors and storylines.

This movie just claims number 1 in 2025 best movie and so far the best movie I’ve seen 2026 as well.
This your rating is getting me motivated to download it

Bro I swear, we need unconventional superhero/comic book stories too that's why I'm more excited for the Clay face movie than the supergirl movie
I just want a John Constantine series or movie. Any supernatural movie sef, I'm sat.

Rental family (2025).

"Sometimes all we need is for someone to look us in the eye and tell us, we exist."

Japanese cinema has proven time again that the slice of life genre is their strong forte, and this is a genuinely pleasant entry.

Brendan Fraser plays a failing actor, desperate to take just about acting gig, drifting through Tokyo, finally caught life with a "rental family", renting himself out to stand in for absences, father, husband, presence...At first, it feels absurd, almost gentle in its oddness. Then the film settles into something more unsettling, how easily performance turns into sincerity, and how badly people want to be seen.

In modern Japan, declining population has meant people are more lonelier and desperate to just be seen, be heard and be loved, and the film handles this reality perfectly, portraying emotional connection as something scarce, fragile and "outsourcing" a father, a husband or a friend isn't a far fetched idea...it feels painfully plausible.

There is this cannon of an actor's career i like, Popular in their earlier years, take a dip, and years later totally reinvent themselves and drop gem performances in indie flicks. Brendan Fraser and Nicolas Cage are in that mold. Brendan carries this, he has already bagged an oscar, so he need not over go over board...he doesn't. This was a gem performance from him, even though he was just pretending to be whatever people wanted him to be, you could see genuine care and affection anytime the camera pans to him.

A niche film and yet an easy recommend, if you like "Perfect Days" (2023), then this should be right up your alley.

8/10.

Marty Supreme:
Movie is well made, but absolutely not for me.
I was torn between liking or hating the main character, didn't know whether to be inspired or not. I wouldn't have lasted the entire 2:23hrs of this if I wasn't hoping for an epic ending, but I was disappointed at the end, seeing that the climax was just generic.
Not a bad movie at all, but it's the kind of movie that I could avoid, and not miss a thing, but couldn't ignore the hype. This is 7/10 for me

Sisu 2:

Forget John Wick. Aatami Korpi is the real bogey man.

Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to blood spattering all over your face, your comrade nailed to the wall with a hand digger, and then Aatami's nightmarish hunched, battered and crimson figure standing across you in the shadows, the only thing you can see in his blackened face are his red, angry eyes?

Man, I'm seriously having crazy issues..... Dunno why I can't seem to have much interest in watching movies these days. Some films I've been anticipating for months finally gets released and I'm having cold feet watching despite being quick in downloading them.

Weirdly enough, I don't have problems guzzling up episodes upon episodes of TV shows and going on crazy binge watching runs for some unique TV shows. But when it comes to showing that commitment to feature films, it becomes a monumental problem. Even for highly anticipated films.

Shït been creeping up since late last year but I shrugged it off as just mood, but man this thing has seeped into this year and I'm lossing a quarter already. Funny thing is, this is the period in a year I easily watch tons of movies at will. 😩😩

It falls just below the hype imo
!....

You could almost feel, it is supposed to be something more, it should be something more but it couldn't just hit. You could clearly see the Safdie brothers trying to infuse their "spontaneous" fast paced style, which worked so well with "Good Time (2017)" and "Uncut Gems" (2019), worked well in those because they had proper carthasis, but by the end of this, i was left wondering, what was even the point? or the hype had me blindly thinking, this was gonna be an all timer, where in reality it was just as generic as they come.

Timothée Chalamet performance was good tho but it isn't just enough to sit through this again, for another 2hr 30mins, knowing there is little or no reward at the end.

It is called 'aging'. Priorities, tastes and habits shift and slide without your notice. When you finally do notice, you are baffled at exactly when it happened.
