The APC is an embarrassment. The party knows that without rigging it cannot win. How do they vote no to this? That form EC8 and what is on the IREv display should tally and this evil party says no? Come on! The APC has clearly shown it is hell bent on rigging the next elections.

If there is practically no network then let the votes be excluded, it happens in most elections where if certain conditions are not met some votes are excluded. In any case won't it be absolutely insignificant to have a few locations without internet completely? How do bandits make calls from caves and koverns yet communities where humans live don't have network to upload just results? Besides are you aware that uploading a file takes less data size than downloading? These guys are definitely into a dubious plan. Leave sentiments aside and reason as if you are reasonable, not an insult pls
We should disenfranchise millions of voters because you stay in the city and think there's network?

But why do we have so many dumb people in this country? Any law without a provision if the clause fails is bound to cause and create chaos. Imagine there is no network in Obi's polling unit, will they be happy if the results of the votes are not counted just because the e-transmission is not possible? What happens if some people spend lots of money to buy signal jamming equipment and deploy it in their opponent's region to prevent e-transmission, will they not be crying if the results are voided? Please use your brain. Imagine if card reader was made mandatory when Jonathan biometrics could not be captures, would he have voted without manual option?

Is he up to 20 million people trying to transfer at once on the same network? Do yo understand the fragility of our network infrastructure and have you made provisions for OPTIONS?
A lot of empty heads and Dundee's supporting Tinubu. The Association of Telecom Operators have come out to say that their infrastructure on ground can cover up to 97% of polling units in the country. The size of data to be transmitted is just about 700 to 800 bytes not even up to one megabyte and doesn't take up to 30 seconds to transmit. Even if there is no network, when it is uploaded in the system, when the device gets to where there is network like the coalition centres, it will transmit automatically thus reducing human criminal interference which is what you lots are looking for.

Ask questions about things you are ignorant of before coming out here to disgrace your village people.

I worked as a RATEC officer during the last election, and so I can tell you more about the BVAS machine.

The election results, when uploaded to the machine does not necessarily need to hit the IREV immediately. It can be in the queue and will hit the IREV once it gets a network connection.

Meanwhile, network mapping was done in 2023, and the result published says that the areas without network are less than 3%.
Does that now make sense to you?

I'm sure you think you just made sense with this comment. You mean in 2026, JAMB can be written online without the results getting intercepted, and money can be transferred from one bank to another without getting intercepted but Nigeria as a nation can't invest in electronic transmission of election results to enable credible electionshuh?
and you dare have the courage to call people dumb?
you obviously have more courage than sense

Are you telling me that election in Nigeria votes have been counted?
I hope you know what u mean by "dumb"?

I want to tell u that this e transmission of votes will favor the electorates more than the politicians.

Please reason beyond tribes and religion.
Do u think that APC will be in power forever.

If they implement this many politicians will not return
U will see that credible people will be contesting knowing fully well that their votes will be counted
You are right?
But u see that man called Tinubu is wiser than all these mumu parading themselves as opposition. He knows they will deliberately make a mess of the e-transmission so as to have a ground to reject results incase it didnt favour them. It is easier to prove the case of manual records in court than e-transmisiion that someone can employ the Russian hackers to mess up the whole thing once they sense they are losing. They tried it in the last election, that's why Yakubu quickly abandone the real-time stuff. In Tribubal where they can contest the INEC released results, no opposition could present their data in tribunal, all they were contesting were Tinubu didnt have certificate, Shetima was not eligible, Tinubu didnt win Abuja etc.
With the current APC formation and Tinubu preparedness, the opposition figures know that they cant defeat Tinubu. They dont even have 20% chance. Tinubu will use vote buying, oppression, and other tactics and not necessarily result alterations as it has always been done. Opposition cant withstand his vote buying and strategies to win election, only thing they can do is to compromise the e-transmission process by involving foreign agents to interrupt the process. Nigeria technological stamina has not developed to that level to withstand this type of foreign more advaced cyber threat. And lack of patriotism is also not helping unlike in other countries.
I don't know what is difficult in doing your e-transmission and allow people who want to do their manual also do theirs. The two of you can now contest the two processes if there is any discrepancy and present the process you trust in court.
APC didnt say there shouldnt be e-transmission, they are only saying manual should go paripasu, just to checkmate the hacking-prone e-transmission.
But u are supposed to suspect these oppositions who are crying only e-transmission, that manual shouldnt be done simultaneously bcs that's the only process a Russian hacker can never compromise.
Get sense.

Democracy is also about progress and development. Resorting to manual transfer of results in Nigeria negates everything democracy stands for
