Hello 👋🏿. Is there anyone who has an idea on what to would happen to the BCS and using it as a second diploma now that the exam is being restructured? what modules or courses would need to be taken, would they still follow the biannual exam timeline etc? please, if you could drop a detailed explanation I'd really appreciate. |

Is it advisable for someone at age 40 to pursue a trade or enroll in an accelerated two-year nursing program? This person has already applied for permanent residence through the Non-Express Entry stream. They have a background in IT, specifically in Network Security, and have also studied AI and Data Analytics. However, they are currently not working in their IT field due to their PR situation. They are now considering a long-term career change into a field that will remain stable and sustainable for the next 20 to 25 years. One concern is the two-year waiting period for PR, which makes returning to IT less appealing at the moment. They would appreciate any advice on which path—trades or nursing—might be the better option in terms of job security, career longevity, and overall practicality at this stage of life. Thank you. |

Good day everyone, I’m preparing to begin my Canada Express Entry process in 2026 and I’m just getting started. I would really appreciate guidance from anyone who has recent experience with the process. I’m looking for accurate and up-to-date information, especially regarding: • The Express Entry process • Required documents • Current requirements and timelines • WES evaluation process If you’ve gone through this successfully or have reliable knowledge, please kindly share your advice or point me in the right direction. Thank you very much for your support. |

Is it advisable to open a new dorm acct to show pof ? Then attach gift deed |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by MayorOfEdmonton: 10:17pm On Feb 13 |
PrettyRX:If it’s gift deed, you should be fine. I know someone that used it without issues. Cheers |

PrettyRX:A gift deed deposited into a newly opened account can raise suspicion of arranged funds or a loan. Be prepared to clearly explain the source of the money, and you may be asked to provide the donor’s bank statements as happened in the case below.

PrettyRX:I used a gift deed in my application process, but in my case I used my regular Nigerian bank account which I normally use to process large transactions. This allowed me to print a 6 Months statement of the account which showed past transactions and made the total credit count on the statement of account to be large. It is usually advisable to use an old account when doing a gift deed. Also make sure the money is sent to the account by a direct blood relative and attach a document to show your relationship with this person (in my case I used our birth certificates, which had the names of our parents on them) My Pdf for Proof of funds had the following documents; 1.Letter of Explanation for gift deed 2.Notorized gift deed from a High Court 3.Transaction Receipt of the money (from the sender) 4.Birth certificates showing relationship 5.Reference Letter/letter of non-indebtedness from the bank 6 Statement of account 7. Sheron50:This ADR is a rarity, I know folks that used gift deed+ new dorm account combo without issue. The ADR u shared was not precise, it said “provide bank account “ as against their usual request for bank statements covering a specific period. My guess is the PA didn’t show funds inflow (Transfer receipt) from the Donor, hence the request. P.S: The person I know added an LoE explaining that the new dollar account was opened to mitigate potential lost of monetary value due to unstable forex. |

Hi everyone! I wanted to ask. Has anyone here ever non deliberately used a wrong date for their work history on their study permit and want to claim this for PR? For example, you put November 2021 - October 2022 in the application and still mentioned it was NYSC, while you worked from November 2021 - November 2022(NYSC). And you want to use this for future PR application. I would appreciate a little insight on this :3 … Merci tout le monde ! |

Good news 👏 This family person got his PR approved today without any ADR. He corrected the errors post ITA and included his NYSC work experience to make-up the points Thank you all for the contribution and good work here. I am so happy for him. From one year study in Canada to One year PGWP, now a PR It can only be God. Betterlife2018: |

Hi everyone, I am already in the pool with CRS of 468. I maxed my ielts and I'm currently studying French with the hopes of writing the exam before the end of the year. I finished NYSC since last year July and I've been job hunting since then. The point now is that I've been researching other means to get ITA and I saw that ircc is prioritising French, Healtcare, Education, PNP and CEC for now. I'm working towards French but I dont want to put all my eggs in one basket. My uncle also has a school so I'm thinking of working there from now till the end of the year. I would like to know if I would be eligible for the education draw even if I dont have a degree in education or certificate in it? I studied computer science and I did the BCS exam last year. |

Hi, how did you prepare for your celpip and if you don't mind me asking what was your score? I have a date for next month but I'm unable to fine any practice test online unless it's paid Ghaliz: |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by chimzyblack(m): 10:05am On Feb 17*. Modified: 8:00am On Feb 19 |
You already have everything in place, what you need is to position yourself properly for the Education draw. Based on previous post from others on this thread NOC 43100 (Teaching Assistant) qualifies for Education draw and does not require a teaching certificate. One of the employment requirements is the completion of a secondary school certificate which is equivalent to WAEC, this is a loophole that can be utilised if one gets a PFL letter. Start by requesting your uncle give you a job in his school with a signed Appointment/offer letter. This Appointment must come with a monthly pay from the school's bank account so that you can use the bank payment as proof of work experience when you get ITA. All you need is 12 month's work experience and you can add it to your profile. While you continue with your french exam preparations. opezi: |
