Which Nigerian bank, in your opinion, offers the best business loan facilities for companies?
Not just what they advertise, but how it actually works in practice. Interest rates, ease of access, repayment terms, all of that.

If you’ve taken a business loan before or tried to, kindly share your experience.
The good, the bad, and the lessons learned.

Sometime in November 2025, I approached First Bank for a cash backed loan… id*ot offered a 35% interest repayment.
In my opinion, our banks are full of idiots who are sitting on jobs just to make a living.

Nigerian banks don't give loans. Except to politicians and big government contractors.

Even if I was into drug trafficking... I presented them with a good deal and they should be open for business; unless they truly don't give loans like the poster above stated and are using high interest rates to indirectly tell their customers to f*ckoff

They loan you e.g. 80% of what you have in savings or investment account balance. Your savings or investment serves as collateral for the loan
