1. The illustration you put about Elon Musk and his fears about electronic voting does not apply to us at all. Nigeria has, and practice manual voting system (aside from accreditation which is semi manual) and I'm ok with that completely. No body is debating it.

2. Where the problem starts is after voting, during collation, once the voters has gone. The form EC8A(if i mentioned it right). At times, the Preciding officer is not given the original form. Meaning that the whole process at the polling boot was a jamboree. At times these forms are altered at the collation center. This is no longer an election(what happened in Rivers State Presidential Elections 2023).

3. The demand is that those forms should be sent to the IREV portal after voting and counting have been concluded there at the polling boot. Those forms are not programmatically filled but manually filled and signed without any form of alterations.

4. Another demand is that those forms uploaded right from the piling boots should be used in court as evidence since everyone has it. It should be made justiciable!

5. The big problem is that "Improvisor" embedded in the clause. On no account should it suffice. No matter where the polling boot is, updated results are kept on queue in the BVAS until there's enough network to upload it. After elections, the card readers are returned to the LGA where there's definitely network. This happens before 5hrs max after elections are concluded. Meaning that before WARD collation starts, these results are already on the IREV portal.

Finally, when you admit an improvisor clause, the Nigerian politicians i know will go straight to jettison the original results from the polling units and write their own result by themselves after compromising the collation officers.

No one drew the line except you, every normal person voted for it as an option. That's reality. What's the option for you IF there's no network in a ward or local government and electoral officers cannot mandatorily transmit electronically? What's your suggestion?

Many people claimed that what they signed was not what was declared, and hence the Supreme Court said that the IREV was a mere viewing portal and not justiciable. That brought about the pictures below

Let's be sincere with ourselves. Even polling agents are compromised by the ruling party in the area or by the "Big man" in the area.

I have been a part of the Nigerian Election as an Adhoc staff since 2015 till 2023! I am in a position to tell you exactly what happens.

We are talking out not because of BAT or PO, we are talking about the right thing to be done because we might be on the ballot tomorrow at any level.

The justice we refused to address today will hunt us tomorrow.

If there is no network is your immediate network, bvas is designed to still send it in offline mode and it automatically submits when u get to where network is. . You are making it seem like tech have not already taken care of this issue of no network

Our elections are not 100% faultless, no country has such BTW. Denying that it happens across the country, across states, across tribes and across political parties is hypocrisy or damnable ignorance.
Deliberately trying to deny legitimate voters or disenfranchise whole wards and even local governments without any reasonable option is madness.

But why do we have so many dumb people in this country? Any law without a provision if the clause fails is bound to cause and create chaos. Imagine there is no network in Obi's polling unit, will they be happy if the results of the votes are not counted just because the e-transmission is not possible? What happens if some people spend lots of money to buy signal jamming equipment and deploy it in their opponent's region to prevent e-transmission, will they not be crying if the results are voided? Please use your brain. Imagine if card reader was made mandatory when Jonathan biometrics could not be captures, would he have voted without manual option?

Why won't there be network after trillions pegged for this very election, in 21 Century Nigeria have not gotten it right with network.
