One thing I like about Calabar people is that you never hear about any trouble in their land, the people are so humble and nice, their women are the best, with very nice bakassi, and their food is extraordinarily delicious.

They're really blessed. undecided
Who told u that they don't like trouble? Their fight over here na matchete oo. Small fight laidis, they don open person head with machete straight up. U are right about their women and food though

Welcome to beautiful, peaceful, conducive, serene, humble, sweet Calabar.

We have so many beautiful cities in this country. I don't know why we always underrate ourselves. If this place was in Ghana, you people won't let us hear word. undecided

u mean u don't have rich friends..all ur friends can not be poor
Read and comprehend.....I said some.

I don't know how old you are maybe you're still a teen or in your early twenties - a stage in life where we build our dreams. However not all that dream ever come to pass. As we progress more into adulthood life usually opens chapter by chapter, no matter your wealth and riches things never remains the way we dream it.

Your friends today most likely will not be the same friends you'll spend your full adulthood with. Majority of your school friends are likely to disconnect and find their own path while some will still be there but that strong bond won't be there in most cases.

Life is a misery.

That is how Calabar used to be during the time of Akparawa Donald Duke.
Keep Calabar Clean and Green was the slogan then.
But you see those 2 governors that came after him,dem no supposed even be councilors for their wards sef.
Expecially that Shoki Dancer.
I traveled to Calabar during his time,I couldn't recognize Calabar again.Street were dirty and the green trees on the roadside were drying up.
I ask my cousin what the governor is even doing. He said he is busy speaking big big English and dancing Shoki, that's all.

So if this video was taken recently during this present Otu's administration, that means he is trying.
He will soon be like Donald or even surpass him which the latter should be the case.

Lovely city, quite clean; superior to many cities in other states. However, the high housing and issues of Police harassment (Dragon squad). Oh well, it's a Nigerian thing just like everywhere else. But, Calabar's cleanliness and tranquility is an added perk.

Truth be told. Calabar, Enugu, Owerri and some parts of Abuja are way above the Nigeria's standards. Nigerians should start saving the face of Nigeria by recommending these places to tourists. I don't think the speed guy could have smelled obnoxious smells if he was received in Calabar or any of the cities mentioned here order than anarchic Lagos.

The choice is ours to make.

My Dad speaks Efik when he wants to show off...he'll tell anyone who cares to listen how sweet the town is.🙂

Calabar is a very beautiful city with abundance of greenery. Friendly environment, friendly inhabitants.

While growing up and schooling in Unical, I and friends will always tell ourselves that we will surely build and live there.....but life isn't the way one sees it growing up.

A lot will always change. Some of those friends are dead, some poor, many without job.
how long now
