My order on AliExpress has been stuck here since Sunday. I think it is being handled by speedaf for delivery. I am a first time user, what do you guys suggest I do to get the package?

They would deliver it.
I just checked now:

Before, they took it to Alaba 2 (which is Ajangbadi and after Festac).

Now they've updated that it has left Alaba2 and gone to another Distribution Center. I'm so confused. Why didn't they just sent it to Festac, which is close to my location? What is odd is that it has been at Alaba2, even yesterday evening (a staff checked), now Speedaf website is saying it left Alaba on the 16th.

At all. My last package came on Saturday, February 14th. Through a weird route also: last year my packages would go to Speedaf Festac office and then this year, they went to Ajao estate allegedly and then got sent to me.

Speedaf Festac were the ones tracking it for me yesterday evening and all of sudden, this morning their website says the package was sent back to the Distribution center 2 days ago, when yesterday by 4.32pm, it was showing that the package was at Alaba2.

There's nothing hard about the address either

All I can hope for is that either Speedaf website is wrong or their 3rd party courier decided to send it back to be picked up by Speedaf Festac.

You wey just dey start, mine will be 3 weeks e reach airport by Friday, I mailed NIPOST, dem say it’s not in their system yet even when I gave them all evidence it’s at the airport.

So, it seems I’m not getting it my item anytime soon (if I get it)

I had this problem last year where they kept sending my package to Asaba from Lagos instead of Benin and then Warri. Reached out to them on Twitter and they claimed they had a hard time tracking the exact LGA and that was where the confusion stemmed from, I provided a much detailed address and they got things sorted out.

Yea, i placed an order on 30 dec. Took 44 days before taking delivery, with the same tracking.

Before buyer protection ends the refund button will show - I think from when the buyer protection remains 15days.

I just got a text that another package I was expecting has been sent to the right Speedaf office near me.

I'm just tired. When I first started ordering last year, everything went so smoothly, I was hyping them everywhere. Now see😭

Approved on February 2nd by aliexpress with 3 other order.
Some days after, got alert for 3 refund. The refund for the tablet was not among.
Went to their branch, the customer service could not assist.
Had to sort it out via their online correspondence.
Lost more than ₦10000 due to exchange rate

Let me make everyone laugh:

My order was 2 packages, this one I'm chasing around came a week before the 2nd one. As of this evening, the 2nd package was not only seamlessly sent to the right Speedaf office near my house, it was delivered this evening.

The Alaba2 one, I'm still pursuing 😮‍💨 just praying it comes tomorrow.

The delivery man said it's computer sorting that determines which package goes where, they have no control over it. Which means that they can give your package to a logistics person somewhat far from you and it would be hassle for them to deliver just your package so the logistics company can decide to wait and pile up more packages going to your location or do the delivery at their own convenience.

Which is why you suddenly start seeing that you "changed the delivery day" or "were unreachable", they have to give Speedaf an excuse for why they didn't deliver.

I love the kind of hope you have 😂😂

How I wish I get such hope, I’m jejely waiting for my order to remain 15 days to the end of buyer protection so I can jejely get a refund and as it is, due to exchange rate I’m already at 50k loss only God knows what it’ll be when I eventually get refunded.

I think you'd get the current rate. Forgotten how this works in Naira. My refund was in $. So I got exactly how much I spent on the refunded item.

I have hope coz back in 2019, while in Uni, ordered a phone, Lg g7, and was delivered by nipost then, tracking no was RB…SG
Btw, it update yesterday, from arrive to departed from global transit center, 2days

it’s always better to use a usd card, refund won’t be a problem. When first ordered my tab im waiting for and saw the CNG tracking no, was confused so told seller to cancel, and aliexpress took 2 days to do their judgement thing, the refund was processed on a Saturday, i got my refund that same Saturday .

This in my opinion is the best way to navigate AliExpress. Use a dollar card for your transaction. When I ordered my tablet in September, I used a Zenith dollar card. When my parcel got stuck for over a month at the linehaul office and was pasy the protection date, I requested for a refund and got it in a few days without issues. 90% of the issues with refund are usually from naira cards.

I think it's also worth mentioning that your item though stuck will almost always get to you eventually. After I got my refund, the item that was stuck without update for almost 2 months finally moved. Received said item a week later and had to reach out to the seller to let him know si we could reach a resolution on payment. So even if you have to cancel, still keep tracking your item, and should you get it reach out to the seller to reach a resolution on payment.
