The information would have been complete if you include both the old and the new fees. Increasing #100,000 to #200,000 for medical education is not what I will protest. However going from #400,000 to #800,000 is another case entirely.

If the Chinese, Russians, Ukrainians, Americans, Swiss and Britons were thinking this way, the world would be far from global development. Same Tinubu was abroad to study, and work for yearsssss. Heavily benefited from subsidize education. They were fed for free, daily, across all levels of education! Eating chicken and cow everyday on campus.

If there were enough jobs, then, well-paying jobs in Nigeria, would they want to relocate permanently?

Haven't we read severally that Nigerian doctors treat your slave masters abroad?

This level of allegiance (towards becoming a slave) that will make me lose my logical sense of reasoning to fooling around, Lord, I refuse it. Don't give me too much, so I don't become foolish, and don't make me poor (financially, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally) , that I can be bought like a commodity to lose my conscience and justify evil. Amen.

go and pay the money. We are paying pittance for education, especially professional courses. Medical school for almost free and then you japa immediately before giving back to the country.

Many of them attended free school.
Very wicked people who are bent on making sure the common man will not be educated.
Re: UNN Medical Students Protest 100% School Fees Increase (photos/video) by wunmi590(m): 9:31pm On Feb 18
huh

So all these NELFUND you have been giving student to pay back, you still want to collect it back from them in tripple, yes education is not cheap, but not in a country like Nigeria where 99.9% of the lecturers are using outdated books to teach, and even the so called professors have not i vented anything in their life...

Abeg, the country is so hard presentny to be increasing school fees anyhow..

UCH (UI medical school) is a joke to you, abi? I doubt you have visited other higher institutions to see how they operate. UNN (both UNEC and NSK) is one of the worst federal universities in Nigeria --- both in infrastructure, administration and structure.

You can visit the school, and then, visit 10 other federal universities to compare notes

I don't argue blindly. UNIBEN is my home and I have visited more than 20 federal colleges of medicine in Nigeria, including UI. UNIBEN and UNN colleges of medicine are still the best. To me, ABU (Zaria) and UNILAG colleges of medicine are even better than UI. You might be mistaken the department or faculty for a whole school. It doesn't work that way. Do not joke with UNIBEN and UNN when it comes to medical studies and practices. Others are far behind them.

Cursed government

I may not have visited up to 20 colleges of medicine but I have lived intermittently in Benin since 2009 and my job entails me visiting the medical school of UNIBEN from time to time. My niece also recently graduated from the college.

I did post graduate programs in UI and UNN. I have had reason to visit some other federal universities . In all these schools, UNN (,UNEC and NSK) remain the worst in terms of infrastructure, administration and structure.

These are verifiable facts.
