A viral video has sparked reactions among Nigerians after a business owner revealed that he had been running at a loss and even taking loans to keep his business afloat.

According to him, he was shocked to discover that a female employee had allegedly been diverting company funds into her personal account and saving part of the money in a “kolo,” a traditional home savings box commonly used in Nigeria.

The incident has generated mixed reactions online, with many expressing shock and questioning how small business owners can survive and succeed amid such practices by some employees.

The employee was saving for rainy days, lol some employees are wicked sha. That's one bad habit I've observed in Nigeria, employees don't mind if the company runs down, you don't destroy what is paying you, none matter any amount you steal, u go still broke.

That employee will one day be an employer. And whatever he sowed he shall reap.

I know say na woman must do am. When a woman steals, there's definitely no Trace left behind. What a very wicked act. If na me, na to just collect my money back including the ones in her Bank Account and just fire her. No need to involve any police jare.

Used to think this way too, untill they showed me shege, now I only employ boys and funny thing is business is going smoothly unlike before
