You already have the solution to your problem , every other things you are talking about is complications that ensure your plan will not work

You already have the Airtel 5G router , your problem is solved , retrieve your Esim to physical sim, then insert in the X25, your X25 can be station close to the equipment that uses lan cable and still broadcast internet to every other place in the house .....and you can retrieve the sim the very day the installer brought it to you , it does not affect anything ....speed is wholly dependent on the network in your area
Mine is in 4G router (Airtel smartbox ) that I have been using since 2013 , and like I said earlier , other than once a while Airtel time out , I don't have any reason to go back to the ODU

I will do this asap. Sheybe it's just normal sim retrieval?

This is the zte the outdoor is better
The indoor is wifi 5

But the indoor for zlt is wifi 6
Since the speed is capped to 50/100mbps wifi 5/ wifi 6 doesn't matter

Hello my people , who has successfully resolve this problem ,
I am using the ODU sim on Airtel 4G smart box but since morning , no network on the smart box , just red , call Airtel like 5 times today, no resolution, I remove the sim and put it inside my phone And viola , there is network and working ....I can dial USSD code and it respond
I put on the ODU , no network too
Physical sim in the router is not bringing network, ODU is also not bringing network but physical sim in a small feature phone works perfectly

It's not the router cos I put another Airtel sim in the router and everything works fine , there is network and browse fine

What can be the solution

Since I retrieve the sim from the ODU, I have never gone back to it until today

I put it on this morning and the thing just work straight away like it never had that problem , I guess the problem is from airtel

Airtel really need to fix their network because it's just terrible even past midnight it was still shitty until i locked bands

I use ZLT and to locks bands i just goto device settings then click advanced settings

I would advice if you plan on converting sim to physical, get two ODU routers with two different lines.

Na wetin I wan do be this so that just incase Airtel want to play a fast one, I will still have another ODU. My next sub will be buying another ODU

Go to Developer Options, put your password again and uncheck all the other bands you don't want to use.

Which one should I uncheck because I want only 5g but I think Airtel has only 5G NSA. Thanks

I don't have 5G in my place. I don't think you will be able to browse if you uncheck all the LTE bands. But you should try it. NSA means Not Stand-Alone. So the 5G go need to stand with LTE Bands

You should try all the LTE bands one by one while setting network mode to 4G only. When you find the best, which is usually band 7, you can lock it and switch to 5G NSA.

If you have 5G, you theoretically shouldn't be having problems with speed. Which problems are you having?

I don't have speed issues like that except for Airtel normal crazy weird speed throttling if you no sabi dem ways. It sometimes go to 4G which I don't want as you can't set it to 5G NSA only. That's why I want to lock it to the band that is responsible for the 5G NSA as it's just an improved 4G LTE

Since Sunday wey dem install am I don use 750gb already like this. Na to stop download and wait till next month so my kids can enjoy TV for this month
