Governors from the Middle Belt states have concluded plans to create a forum named the Middle Belt Governors Forum (MBGF).

This forum is different and independent from the Northern Governors Forum which have been used by the fulanis to influence the politics of Nigeria as a whole. With the creation of Middle Belt Governors forum, the good people of the Middle Belt are now independent to chart their political future, as well as unite with progressive regions to chart a great future for Nigeria.

We welcome the creation of the Middle Belt Governors Forum. And we urge them to assert their independence, promote indigenous politicians, resist Fulani interference, and dismantle any remnant of Fulani chokehold on the Middle Belt.

Congratulations to the indigenous Middle Belt peoples.
