We are an Education Software Company is looking expanding our digital presence and looking for a technically creative, education-savvy Social Media Manager & Blog Writer who understands how to communicate effectively with Nigerian students.

💼 Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and data-driven communicator who can:

- Manage our social media platforms

- Write engaging education-focused blog content

- Speak the language of JAMB/WAEC candidates

- Turn educational insights into viral, helpful content

🔥 Key Responsibilities
📱 Social Media Management

- Manage and grow our Twitter (X) and Instagram pages

- Plan and execute monthly content calendars

- Create engaging captions tailored to Nigerian students

- Monitor trends in JAMB, WAEC, and Nigerian education

- Respond to comments and DMs professionally

- Track and report performance metrics

✍️ Blog & Content Writing

Write high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts for:

- WordPress blog

- LinkedIn page

Produce content such as:

- JAMB/WAEC preparation guides

- Study tips and strategies

- Education news updates

- Student motivation content

- Repurpose blog content into social media snippets

- Maintain consistent brand voice across all platforms

📊 Content Strategy & Growth

- Identify viral content opportunities in the education space

- Suggest campaign ideas for student engagement

- Support product promotions and feature launches

- Collaborate with the tech/product team when needed

✅ Required Qualifications

Must-Have:

- Excellent written English (VERY IMPORTANT)

- Strong understanding of the Nigerian education space

- Familiarity with JAMB, WAEC, Post-UTME ecosystem

- Proven experience managing social media pages

- Experience writing blog posts or long-form content

- Ability to write in a tone that connects with students

- Basic knowledge of SEO

- Highly creative and detail-oriented

- Self-driven and able to work remotely

⭐ Strong Advantage (Nice to Have)

- Experience in EdTech or education brands

- Experience with WordPress publishing

- Graphic design skills (Canva, etc.)

- Experience using social media analytics tools

- Copywriting or conversion writing experience

- Understanding of student psychology in Nigeria
