If Lagos have a population of 40million people, and Yorubas are 20million of that Lagos population, Igbos are around 12million or more of that Lagos population.



If Oyo State is 12million population, Igbos have at least 500k or more of that 12million Oyo population.


If Ondo have 4million population, Igbos make up at least 300k of that Ondo population.


If Ogun is 6million population, Igbos are at least 900k of that Ogun state population.


If Abuja is 18million population, Igbos make up at least 3million of that Abuja population.

Yorubas rarely travel outside Southwest to live permanently, they always brag about this as a great achievement, the only places they travel to in large numbers to live permanently outside Southwest are:

Abroad (outside Nigeria, mostly UK, US, Canada, and some other EU, etc countries unlike Igbos that are in virtually all nations of earth in their large numbers)

But in all the 36 states of Nigeria, after the indigenes of that state, and maybe the second indigenous tribe in that state, Igbos are usually the next most populated tribe in all the 36 states of Nigeria, now what does that tell you?



And when you guys deny this fact, in few hours or days or weeks or months from the day you deny this, same you and your people will come out to taunt or mock Igbos that they don't stay in their region, that they are mostly in other regions and still shouting Biafra, so make una continue to de Bobo unaselves, u guys know the truth that Igbo erika



Another point worthy of note, which also prove that Igbos are more than Yorubas if you take into account, Igbo communities and Igbos politically schemed out of present day Southeast even though the scheming started from British colonial masters who never liked the Igbos for being confrontational to their authority and not having a unified traditional leader they could use to control and rule over Igbos, is the fact that this same Igbos according to global history lost over 3million people during the civil war and have constantly lost youths via Biafra agitation struggles since the end of the civil war, unlike the Yorubas who have never had any major crises that cost them human casualties to the tone of millions.



The truth is there for all that desires it to see that Igbos are more than Yorubas. After Hausas, Igbos are the next most populated tribe in Nigeria, followed by Yorubas, take this to bank

Lagos is not more than 21 to 23 million people not 40 million people. NIN registration is around 12 million. Other southerners there outnumber Igbo while Igbos and Hausa will drag population. Yoruba still are the majority going by the hold they have over the state.
In Osun where I stay, non Yoruba are between five to ten percent of the population. In my secondary school in Osun they were not more than five percent and they are from all over the country. These are facts. I worked in Lekki Lagos for one year and I was employing people. I believe the average state is like Osun by having less than ten percent of the population as not coming from the same zone.
The total number of Southerners in the North can't be more than ten million. It is easy to disprove this. Just ask someone who went to school in the North to tell you the ethnic makeup of their class but mind that many Hausa children are out of school.

Igbos are not the second in population in all states. Not in my village at least. Hausa have ten times their number and small Igede from Benue have up to five times in my village of ERE Ijesa in Osun state

Once Nigeria breaks up, the dick measuring will stop. It is because of Nigeria that Igbos will be posturing as being equal to Yoruba. An Igbo country will contain less than 30 million people including people claiming not to be Igbo and non indigenes living there while a Yoruba country will contain up to 70 million. If no Nigeria will there be a basis for comparison? So it is Nigeria degrading the Yoruba.

You are just talking of Igbos living in other places, what about millions of Hausa, Yoruba etc living in Igbo land?. A place like Anambra has more Yoruba than Osun has Igbo.

Then the CIA fact book put the number of starvation deaths during the civil war at around 500k and not millions. People just inflate figures for effect because what even was Nigeria's population back then?

What you have are just claims. There is no proof that Igbos outnumber Yoruba or Hausa in any non Igbo city in Nigeria. If Yoruba can outnumber Igbos in every city in Europe and North America where they were counted, how much more northern Nigeria? During the last Jos riots there were more Yoruba Christians killed than Igbos despite that half of the Yoruba are Muslims.
Go to Northern schools where everybody converge, do real research and counting and publish it. What you will find is that Yoruba are more

There is no zone where up to ten percent of the population are non indigenes. Sometimes not up to five percent and there is no reason to believe any Northern city at all have more Igbos than Yoruba
