It doesn't really matter, the main thing is you can prove that you received payment for work experience claimed. But a minimum wage (70k) should be the least any worker in Nigeria should be earning. But you and I know that many teachers receive less than that. so sit down with the Director/Owner and reach an agreement on that. Damolux01: |

Hello everyone, Please, I'm stuck. I did my MSc in Unilag which was sent to WES for evaluation. However, WES is asking for me to upload the degree certificate which I currently do not have as I just had my convocation in January and was told the certificate will only be available around April. What other documents can I upload in place of the certificate. Thank you |

ebonyalhjnr:Do you have the official Notification of Results? That’s usually ready before the certificate after senate has approved results. My spouse used it a few years ago without issues, might be worth exploring. Otherwise April is almost here😊 |

Pheo:I bought official study materials from Celpip, with practise tests and study guides. You will struggle to find any great study materials that's free, it is by design and you ultimately have to put your money where your mouth is. Sorry. |

Update on this, Canada has passed a new rule, for you to qualify for any category based draw you must have at least 12-month work-experience in that job within the last 3years. It is no longer 6months. chimzyblack: |

chimzyblack:What if someone is already in the pool with a 6 month experience |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by chimzyblack(m): 10:29am On Feb 19 |
You will not be invited to apply Until you reach the 12Months work experience threshold. The good part is that it doesn't need to be 12months Continuous. If you already have 6months you need to find a way to get an additional 6months for you to qualify for a category based draw... UrFears: |

Hello everyone. I’m looking at joining the pool and I’m not sure how to go about the job experience part. For context, I will be 29 next month, I will be rounding up my masters in the US in May. And I’m planning to take the CLEPIP exam during summer after my masters. My main problem is the job experience part, I have always been a freelancer. I have over 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst and around 1.5years experience as a Data Scientist. My Masters is in a related field but my undergraduate degree is in Engineering. Assuming I max out the English language points, do I have any realistic chance of getting ITA? I also have Canadian tourist visa if it matters. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by studyhub: 11:38am On Feb 19 |
chimzyblack:In the case that the person chose 12 but has 6, they can still get invitation if their CRS score ranked higher in the pool with the information provided (right or wrong). The problem is that, you can't use the invitation because you're going to provide proof to back all information provided (except a ban or rejection is "hungrying" you). Don't create profile if you don't have all the required documents ready. You will deny a legitimate person the chance to receive invitation. |

Nozino:The tricky part is proof. For freelance work, IRCC will want reference letters from clients (including duties, hours, duration, and pay), contracts, invoices, bank statements showing payment, and tax filings, if available. IMO: working off-campus in the USA on a F-1 student visa without explicit, prior authorization is a severe violation of your visa status and acts as a massive red flag to IRCC Assuming you can provide proof of your work experience and achieve maximum scores on the English exam, what is the projected CRS score you are looking at? |

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by studyhub: 11:38pm On Feb 20 |
Enigma13:Focus and pass your IELTS. While you study, you can keep up with your WES ECA for updates. Check also that your CRS score is enough to get you invitation in the category that you chose. (If not, explore other options to increase your chances). Good luck! |

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by amnotapervert(m): 4:39am On Feb 21*. Modified: 5:04am On Feb 21 |
Luckygurl:From my understanding, if 8 months is all you have, you are technically not eligible to submit a complete PR application, even if you received an ITA. Submitting without meeting the minimum requirement can lead to refusal. It’s stated in the requirements section of the invitation click on the link and read it. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/ministerial-instructions/express-entry-rounds.html you are not the only one with this issue alot of people got invited and do not have up to 1 year work experience I saw it on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaexpressentry/comments/1ra2ve5/healthcare_and_social_services_occupations/?share_id=JbJxwOi6DK8FCqY-Ab9TQ&utm_content=2&utm

The POF stayed in my account for only 2 days before I printed my statement of account. Even though my Complete PR application was submitted 23 days later. The thing with gift deed is not about how long the money stayed in your account, but proving that the funds is not an arrangement fund. That is why there is need for it to come from a blood relative and not using a recently opened account because it might raise suspicion. napoleonbaba: |
