They did not strike down tariffs- they said the use of the emergency powers rather than other tariff laws exceeded Presidential authority. They will just use other tariff laws to accomplish the same objective - a level playing field for international trade....also please for those of you in jubilant mode go to YouTube and listen to Scott Bessent break it down the president can use the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to invoke trade embargo but he can't use it to raise a dollar in tariff there are other laws for him to use
