Good evening learned fellows, I am having serious challenges choosing the best ODU device.
My intention is to serve at least 300 persons at a go. And I know the ODU can only allow 64 connections at a go.
Below are my challenges
1. Which of the ODU is best so far?
2. If 64 connections are on the ODU simultaneously, would speed be drastically affected?
3. Can I aggregate two or more ODU with a WiFi extender to meet my target of 300 connections?

I am free to suggestions and contributions.

I have not used up to 100gb, less than two weeks to expire, e be like I wasted my money, it so slow when downloading, maybe because no 5g network in my area.

That is Airtel for U ,.. I cN recall that some1 had the same problem on here,, I think it happens to all zlt , what I noticed, the battery life as improved...I have been using it for 6 hours 12 mins a d the ups battery indicator still showing blue .. before the 2.4ghz got bad I used it for 5.45 hours max .. so for those that are complaining about battery, you should disable one for the server band .. I think this will help

are you sure you didn’t turn on WiFi optimization under 5G? It makes sure you only use and see 5Ghz. Mine is enabled. I prefer using only the 5Ghz.

Not exactly what it does. It makes devices which can connect to 5Ghz connect to it while devices which can only connect via 2.4Ghz will also connect to the same SSID. If you want to know which devices connected to which frequency, there is a place they are shown on the admin interface.

are you sure you didn’t turn on WiFi optimization under 5G? It makes sure you only use and see 5Ghz. Mine is enabled. I prefer using only the 5Ghz.

Since Sunday wey dem install am I don use 750gb already like this. Na to stop download and wait till next month so my kids can enjoy TV for this month

I would advice if you plan on converting sim to physical, get two ODU routers with two different lines.

I wonder 750gig in 4 days ...4 U to do that U need at least 18 to 20 Mbps constant speed for 4 days non stop and Airtel will never give U that speed constantly.... .... 15 ppl no fit use am in 4 days. He must b a paid downloader Sha ... I use more then 1tb every month all I download are files to flash mobile phones Android, latest iOS files.. and PS4 games on DLS... DLS will never give U 4Mbps even na starlink U dey use as a free downloader.. it takes me more then 20 hours to download a file of 160gig PS4 game ... I also use it to watch movies at home with my family and uploaded files on my YouTube channel...

Disable it and check if U can still see 2.4ghz on your devices because me I no see 2.4ghz again o.. Andi's really affecting me

It's possible sha...my Airtel speeds hits up to 5MB/s. Maybe he just downloads large files like video games

Even if you could connect 300 people at a go, at 1gb per person a day is 300gbs which means you're likely hitting the 1Tb threshold in about 3 days.

This is very impractical and you need to seriously review your model. Even 1 starlink plus extender won't give you the best experience if 300 people are connected at once.

Osyxcel:
300 people at a go is enterprise level. Go and get Fiber.

If you can get FiberX, go for the enterprise 1Gb/s plan for #200k. If not, go for any other fiber provider in your area.
